I tried both types of rooms. The ac rooms and the fan only room. Both were great especially for the price. Pool was great and service was great. Really no complaints, the beds was not as bad as everyone says.

The beds were the worst I have slept in the last 6 weeks of travel. The pillows were little bits of foam. Very uncomfortable. I don't know who this place got all the good reviews. I know it is cheap. But cheap can be good to.

Nothing, not the place I book had to walk about 200 meters to a room ubove a bar with no swimming pool I could have walked to mandarin Lodge every day to swim in a bath as pictures mad the pool look really big but in fact wasn't much bigger than a bath

Bathroom, towel, Bedroom, bed sheet and pillowcase. Are dirty and smelled. Water is so weak and the same goes with WiFi, Signal. Mosquito and bugs crow in the room. Nothing is offered like water bottles and refrigerators.

We were upgraded to a room with a balcony and Sea View. Fantastic large room, clean and had everything we required however, the reason for the low score was because we had street dogs outside constantly fighting all night disturbing our sleep..Not the hotel's fault but nonetheless 'a pain in the arse'.

The bed can feel the iron in your back. The bathroom has hole in the roof. The French owner should repair many things!! There where some insects on the bed. It was not cleaned! Payed only 500 bath but was my worst experience in Thailand.

1. Photo shopped ramshackle accommodation. 2. Booking. Com wanted credit card guarantee at time of booking. Accommodation wanted cash payment. 3. Accommodation description is false. A ground floor apartment with kitchen. The kitchen was only a shelf. No cooktop, cooking ware, crockery or cutlery. At my behest they gave a microwave, one plate, two bowls one knife and one spoon. I have been shortchanged. 4. Public thoroughfare alley on which the room was located. 5. The bathroom has no window or exhaust fan.

They don't have anyone working after 11pm, so if ANYTHING happens there is no one to assist you!! My door wouldn't open at 3 am in the morning, I msged them on booking and I called them, I received no reply. The pictures I shared show the front door to the hotel, it's pitch black, no one is working! And the picture of the door to my room, it won't open! I had to go and stay at another hotel that night! The owners of this hotel WERE NOT HONEST WITH BOOKING.COM! they said that they did hold up their end of the lodging agreement but that's not true! I could not get into my room, someone should have been available to help me! Your a frickin hotel! What is wrong with y'all? Why not provide bthe service that I paid you for? So they lied to booking.com to avoid refunding me. I'm Also, I saw a rat by there pool, he just came out, looked at me and my friend and ran back the way he came... I suggest you choose a hotel that actually has 24 hour staff available, Mandarin hotel by victor is unprofessional and dishonest! Look forward to my Google review!

The owner was extremely helpful, we arrived very tired late in the night and provided us the smoothest check-in, we brought our doggies and the owner said no problem.

Staff could be better when it come to making up the room. Some days they just don't do it and you'll have to ask . The main issue is the air con could really do with being replaced with a larger unit that can handle cooling the whole apartment or at least having a seperate one for the lounge area to the bedroom. The one that's in there struggles and now it's getting older is struggling even more everytime I come. When you close the bedroom door at night you'll be fine but in the day time the lounge area can become a little warm with the small unit struggling to cool such a big area.

I have stayed in the apartment room when I come to hua hin many times, it's tucked away and quiet and I like it there. It's right next to the pool, has an outside seating. It's a nice room.
