The filter for the pool could have been on more to keep the pool cleaner slightly and fresh water daily would have made it a 10. A full size mirror would have been great too!

It’s ideal to have your own transport as the island is hilly and very hot and you need to walk for food/beach. We alternated between Salad beach and Yao beach (very hard walk in the heat and we hike a lot but usually when it’s below 25) as taxi costs a lot for such a short distance.

The swimming pool was amazing! Hosts friendly and helpful, good laundry service charging per kilo (unlike major resort charging per item)

There is absolutely nothing to complain about

We’ve had the best time at Mayara Pool Villas. It is a mix out of hotel and a typical airbnb. We loved the concept of having privacy with our own pool but room service and someone to talk to (in person) at all times. The flat was super clean and lovely decorated. The pictures absolutely represent reality. The sunset is right in front of the pool, so you get to enjoy the beautiful sunsets at Koh Phangan in your private pool. You have the option to rent a scooter owned by Mayara (which we definitely recommend). The prices are standard prices of Koh Phangan - therefore completely fair. There are several food options in the next village (for breakfast, dinner, lunch) and also some supermarkets next to it (5min by scooter). There also is a supermarket quite close in walking distance (~10min), so if you just want to stay in the apartment without leaving by scooter, that is also possible. In case of any questions you can always text the owners via WhatsApp and will get help right away (for whatever you need). They live close by so that there always is someone to talk to in person. All in all we can absolutely recommend staying at Mayara. The place is just wonderful! Thanks for having us and taking care of us. We really enjoyed staying with you and will recommend it whenever we get the chance ☺️

Nothing, other then you will need a form of transport to benefit from the surroundings, there is an amazing beach nearby with all facilities and excellent restaurants but the walk is challenging

I can't really say anything.

I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever. The place was absolutely beautiful and the room was stunning. It was super peaceful as well so truly a great place to go and relax. The two owners were equally amazing. Very hospitable and helpful and always ready to help us with anything. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Maybe it would have been nice to know, that some of the villas don’t have the same outstanding view as the other ones, but I guess it’s a matter or luck, depending on which villa will be attributed to you.

The property is really great, it was the best stay from our whole trip in Thailand. The owners are extremely friendly and they help you no matter the inquiry. The location is also great.

Not a thing

The villa is as beautiful as on the pictures. Stylish furniture and decoration. Kitchen has everything one could need, including blender, toaster and coffee machine. So you can make your own fruit juices and enjoy them at the pool. Located within walking distance to a good restaurant (salad view), breakfast place and beach. Quite easy to get to with the motor bike. The couple that hosts Mayara Pool Villas are super friendly and helped us with transfer, motor bike and any recommendation we needed.

Everything was perfect. I would recommend to rent a motorbike while staying here to reach restaurants and beaches easier.

The villa is amazing and truely a hidden gem. It is ideal for people looking for peace, quiet and privacy. The villa is brand new and housekeeping ensures it to be held in spotless condition during the stay. Washing service for a small fee, motorbike for rent and snorkling equipment for free is available. The view and the private pool makes for a memorable experience.

The room is comfortable and very clean. The private pool in front of the sea is a relaxing moment after a day on the beach. It is also situated near by a lot of beaches and restaurants. Last but not least the staff was so kind and help us every time.

That we only stayed for 3 nights

On arrival, we receive a very friendly, warm welcome from both owners. Everything to do with the room, check-in/out was explained clearly, as well as nearest attractions, beaches, shops etc. The villas are located in a very peaceful area, We had the highest villa, we were not prepared for just how spectacular the views were. The room was immaculate, as was the infinity pool, the bed is big and comfortable. The shower was always hot. It had everything you needed if you didn't want to leave the room, coffee machine, toaster, kettle,big fridge freezer hob, saucepans etc. Smart tv woth nexflix, fan and good airconditioning. We stayed as part of honeymoon, and if it hadn't been for the fact we had boat trips booked, we would not have left the room. Both owners were feiendly and helpful every time we spoke to them. We had a fantastic stay from the minute we arrived till the minute we left.
