water pressure problem and not always hot water, communication between staff has not always been up to standard, and created a bit of chaos for us, we notified them during our stay that we want to extend our stay but this has not been passed on to another members, so we decided not to extend our stay. Except of this small misunderstanding and mention above water issues, we are very happy with our stay

Beach was awful. Dirty swamp as shrek was desire for. Too extreme road to this nice spot. Better to have 4*4 car in case of rain etc.

Nice room. with a view to backyard. at rainy season it would be a nice streaming canal. Friendly priced restaurant with any type of food.

1. Apparently, they do not have enough space for car parks during weekends. 2. Too many guests staying. If you’re looking for quiet relaxing atmosphere, this hotel may be suitable for you. A lot of kids, some decided to scream in the hall way then the parents yelled at them to make them stop. Also, the hotel welcomes quite a large tour group. You may find people singing karaoke in meeting room during your stay. Good thing was they stopped before 10 pm 3. It was like a staff run hotel. There are coffee bar (Starbucks) and cocktails bar not far from one to another. They both turn on different music. It was a bit disturbing. One staff even sang along.

The room we were put in was very nice inside but no view whatsoever They were constructed like cell blocks Obviously you can pay more for pool or beach view but quite expensive Called hideaway and that is what it is Really off the beaten track and 21 kms from ferry port

Beach wasn’t spectacular. Location is a bit out of the way. You need to rent a motorbike.

Clean rooms, no view in ours. Staff were excellent especially the lady running the breakfast buffet.

Smoking. I had never seen so many smokers in my life, including a few staff. They should prevent smoking in locations where children play in the pool or where the smoke blows there.

Location and beach were so good. Breakfast had a good variety.

I’m having mixed feelings about this hotel. We arrived just after 3pm (check in is from 3pm), after a lengthy check in process we were told our rooms were not ready and that we have to wait for an hour, we were offered drink vouchers for the bar which was nice of course but does make you wonder about how this place is managed. The rooms are very nice at first glance but, unfortunately, they could use some more maintainance (my room had torn curtains, no tv signal, and an AC unit that took a while to start working every time I turned it on). The pool is really nice but could use more cleaning. Also, for the first two days the ladder to get out of the pool had no steps, they were installed later but it felt a bit negligent on part of the hotel that they were missing in the first place. The beach is small and feels very private but the sand is rough and the water is ok but not crystal clear so it doesn’t give you the feel of a tropical beach like some of the other ones of Koh Chang (e.g. Lonely Beach). A lot of the contact with guests is done by trainees, some of them are very nice but some seemed confused as to what they’re supposed to do. All in all, it wasn’t a bad stay but I don’t think we’ll be going back.

Check in- we were not able to access our room until 40 mins after paid for check in time (so 3:40), we had arrived at the resort at 1:30 and fully checked in. Totally understood that we couldn’t access the room until 3 so we went and had lunch etc. and we were told we’d be called if the room was ready before 3…. however the delay to get into the room until 3:40 at the end of a long day of driving, as a solo adult with 2 tired children was not good enough. We were offered a free drink, but we’d already had lunch and drinks whilst waiting for check in.

location on beach is good, shady area of beach good for kids to play on beach and Starbucks sold at the beach cafe. Staff were all very friendly and kind. Breakfast buffet was decent. Kids enjoyed the pool.

Counter staff - they were confused about everything. The trainee staff were not supported whichmade the check in experience lengthy and annoying (for us and also them I'm sure). We decided to stay another night and had to change rooms (even though we booked the same room type) which was annoying but we understood it was a busy time.

The room size was good. The porters were lovely and really attentive.

2/10 for comfort. Every edge in the hotel room is sharp. There are no rounded corners anywhere lol. I sliced my knee open on the little stool topped with a sharp ceramic tile. I bashed my elbow on every 90° corner 😂… Now, I am klutzy but I think I hurt myself every 2 hours for 6 days straight. And that too: The reception couldn’t help me get a room for 6 nights when we first arrived. They were able to book us for one night but then I had to go on Booking.com to book 5 more nights in a different room. The bell hop staff are amazing! 🙏They were very helpful storing our bags and moving them into our new room 😃 Food and drinks are expensive and we never felt like we wanted to stay at the hotel for very long. Pool access was very nice but seemed like there was no filtration going on. It looked good from afar but all the grout was pretty grimy. Needs a good pressure washing.

Aesthetically, it looks very nice. The beach loungers are comfortable and the beach itself is mint. The location on Bailan Bay is awesome, we loved every restaurant on the strip

Bed was extremely hard, hotel staff after first night assisted by putting basically a quilt on top of the mattress to make more comfortable, but for a 4 star hotel this was way below standard expected. This has to reflect on senior management for not ensuring hotel is up to necessary standard.
