Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaNo store near...if you need something you'll have to rent the scooter. And Grab will not go there
The bed was VERY COMFORTABLE!! The pool was great and I felt like I had the whole beach to myself:)

United KingdomMosquitoes and other bugs are obviously going to get in as it’s a tent, can’t really be helped! We quite liked the lizards in our bathroom.
Lovely little resort in the middle of nowhere. Really nice pool and you can get dinner there for very cheap. They also offer a free taxi the next day to the ferry port.

United KingdomIt gets extremely hot in the tents, but they have air-conditioning; you just need to get the temp right. Naturally, noise travels through a tent, which can get annoying. Anyone staying in a room complained about their beds being too hard, mine was fine in the tent.
I stayed for around 10 days here in a tent. The staff were welcoming and always looking to please, and the pool and loungers were great for getting hot and then cooling off. It's really remote, which suits me greatly and is extremely affordable. Don't expect many restaurants or bars nearby. In fact, don't expect much of anything nearby. The bathroom was spacious, and the food at the guesthouse was filling.

SwedenHard bed and a bit annoying having to zip the tent closed/open every time you want to go to the bathroom or so. A bit removed from anything to do, but I guess many stay here to catch the morning ferry like we did.
Real luxury glamping. Also the owner has a beach bar/restaurant 5 minutes away at the beach and when it started pouring, the owner offered to drive us back the road to the hotel for no cost, which was really nice! Transfer to the pier was also included at no extra cost, which was a plus!

BelgiumOn the site there is a menu with ‘Grandma’s revommendations’ which unfortunately are no longer available. I understand the reasoning but it was one of the factors that made me choose this place. The current menu choices are a little bit underwhelming, certainly when staying for more then a few days. As stated before this can be solved by eating somewhere else. The grandmother suggestions should be removed from the website because it’s misleading and menu options could be improved with a mininum effort. There’s also some wear and tear vissible all around the resort which is normal but can in my opinion be managed in a more constructive way. E.g. remove damaged sun launchers from sight and return only when fixed.
I needed a quiet place with a swimming pool and that was exactly what I got. I do suggest to come with your own means of transport unless you are just planning for an overnight stay. They are very helpfull arranging transfers . On my request they were also so friendly to pick up some fruit for my stay. There is also a good restaurant close by called ‘To the moon’.

ThailandVery nice place to stay and chill out in peace and surrounded by nature. Even though we stayed in a tent, it was super clean and sufficient for our family of 4. Close to the pier taking you to Koh Tao. Very friendly stuff with nice homemade breakfast.

United StatesBeds are hard, but that's typical Thailand style I think. Light a bit dark. A fridge would be good
The staff was absolutely wonderful and gave us a room even though they didn't have a record of our reservation yet. We were able to rent a scooter to get around and that was exactly what we hoped for to experience the area for one night to visit the close by National Park and viewpoints. Nice shower. Clothes rack is nice. Nice to have the pool available.

Friendly staff. Nice garden and area around. Hotel is good stop if you need total peace or have a early boat to Koh Tao. Hotel serve complimentary transport to harbour. Lady in reception was really nice and helped arrange taxi to local market. Breakfast was good and good price. There are cofee and tea aviable 24/7 for free. You can also fill your waterbottle. There was just room avaiable and I stayed alone 4-beds tent. It was nice. I liked jungle around and really quite.

United Kingdomnothing! however just a pre warning, it is in the middle of absolutely no where, so if you’re into busy towns or beaches this is not for you (there’s literally ONE beach bar down the way, which was nice but quiet). it is very, very quiet in general. the tents are small if you’re there for more than a few days. it’s perfect for a stop over for a relaxing day or two!
loved this unique little spot. we originally didn’t realised we’d booked a tent (my fault, i was in a rush!) but don’t be put off if you’re thinking of going for a tent! - they’re small but clean, air conditioned and cute! clean bathrooms, the staff were lovely, especially the lady who owns it. we got there late and was offered dinner straight away and for a good price. we only stayed one night as we were getting the ferry to Ko Tao the next day, but i dipped my feet in the pool and it was lovely and warm! nice little beach bar down the road and a free taxi service to the pier (about 10 mins, if that) if you are getting the ferry once leaving the hotel! it’s perfect for what we needed. good showers.

NetherlandsNice place a bit away from the pier to Koh Tao. The glamping tents are nice and we even got upgraded to the bungalows as they were available. Free shuttle to the pier and they can book your ticket as well. Also free coffee and tea. Free bikes (need repairs but was good enough to get to the close by mangrove national park). All in all good place for a stopover or a few days RnR.

MalaysiaI booked a superior room and was given a tent… from the photo in Bookings it showed a room with attached bathroom. The tents were ok and had a very powerful air conditioner which saved the day however the toile was outside the back of the tent and whilst clean, it was disconcerting to have to get in and out of your tent as quickly as possible to avoid the mosquitos and any other creepy crawlies entering your tent. The tents cannot lock and all its long you can hear neighbors coughing, sneezing and kids crying.. had I known it was a tent I would have booked elsewhere. NOT into glamping.
The Pool was lovely and cool. The Host was friendly.

BelgiumThe restaurant food was not good. It was not authentic Thai, it seemed more like food from an 'Asian' restaurant in Europe. Disappointing, since they describe their restaurant as 'grandmother's traditional food'.
Beautiful, quiet location. Very big and beautiful pool, it was clean. Sleeping in the tent was cosy, good temperature at night. Great to hear all the birds and insects at night and in the morning.
