Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe breakfast was repetitive and it never got replenished very often, often there was nothing left or it was cold no matter what time you got in there. There were so many children especially in the first swimming pool screaming shouting and playing with every type of inflatable going which it quite clearly says not to do. Also people were using the pool outside of the allocated hours as late as 12 midnight with no respect for people trying to sleep nearby.
Location is great, room was very comfortable, very clean. Tea, coffee and water provided every day. Our room was right opposite one of the 3 swimming pools, the smallest of the 3 bit busy, the third pool is much bigger and quieter.

AustraliaWay too many Russian tourists. Has a weird atmosphere because they just aren’t very friendly people right off the bat. Maybe that’s just their culture, but many times we saw them being rude to the locals and not paying for certain things or just walking off mid meal without paying and the thais chasing after them
It’s a pretty great spot for a young family, you walk out the front to a semi quiet road with food vendors and other stalls selling trinkets with seating that floods onto the sand leading to the beach. You can stroll up and down the road staying at different restaurants and going for a swim in the ocean which is very calm. The rooms are nice enough but no fly screens so you can’t open a window without the mosquitoes coming in.

MalaysiaRoom is much bigger than in the description, and there is a coach in the room, which was not mentioned in the description. If we were know this, we would book only one room instead of two.
Location is great, nice beach, clean in the hotel and around, lot of different offers for food and leisure around

AustraliaBreakfast was adequate, and there was ample available, but nothing outstanding. Could have bought breakfast and fruit at one of the local street food restaurants for much better value.
Location was great. Nai Yang was a brilliant experience, great little beach town with plenty to offer, but not too crowded.

AustraliaWe were a bit disappointed with the general maintenance of the grounds and the pool areas. Noticed rubbish left in pool area still there couple of days later. Garden maintenance outside ground floor patios could be improved.
Oriental Grand Deluxe Room. Very spacious room with good lighting and easy access to pool. Breakfast buffet fresh and more than adequate for the price. Great location with easy access to beach and all Nai Yang has to offer. Large fridge in room. Found all staff, with exception of the beach towel boys, to be very pleasant and helpful.

AustraliaIt's a little bit tired could do with a little T & C, but was comfortable for 2 nights.
Proximity to airport was great, close to beach, restaurants and beach bars and our room was close to the pool. Great value for money for a short stay.

AustraliaStaff were lovely though the English of the reception staff was surprisingly poor. No complaints!
We had a spacious villa - HUGE bed. Really like the separate shower room, separate toilet room with the vanity open in the middle. Good breakfast. Location cannot be beaten- access to beach and anything you might need is amazing. Very big resort but great pools so you have one nearby.

FranceWIFI was terrible, it didn't cover all areas, and when it worked it was very slow Breakfast can be improved. Is great location if you only plan to go to the nearby beach be near the airport, if you plan to do excursions you will have to go to Phuket Town or other, this might be pricey and far.
The beach in front of the hotel is very nice, there are many street food stands that are very tasty. The rooms are very nice, and the beds confortable. The cleaning staff was friendly and assertive.

AustraliaThis resort is in the best location at Nai Yang Beach, has nice pools ans is accross the road from the beach and heaps of local restuarants and eateries. Nai Yang is such a great place with an excellent beach and plenty to do. Plus 10 minutes from airport and has a small village feel. Great price as well.
