How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

A bit noisy at night because of people on the street or in the places nearby, first night I think there were bed bugs, then asked for a different bed.
Cheap, location, spacious 4 beds dorm, only 3 in the room for 3 nights, ok with only a fan,possibility to refill water bottles, and eat own food in the common room.

Staff weren’t the most helpful, no air con, bathroom was not in the best condition.
Incredibly cheap, great location, dorm was passable.

The shower was broken so we had to go to different rooms.
Good location, there is a laundry servis just across the street, food and bar options just behind the corner, temples nearby.

The staff woke us up early in the morning each time they emptied the trash bins from the bathrooms. Beds were hard as a rock, very noisy.
Very clean place, good location and friendly staff. For the price, is the best low budget hostel in CM. Breakfast is just toast with coffee, but I would not expect anything else.

The mattresses are pretty hard and they turn off the water randomly during the day but overall it’s no big deal, most of the staff don’t speak English but you can make it work with translator😁
Great price, clean (they clean the whole hostel every day), friendly staff (we came 3 hours after check in closed and they still let us in, which is awesome), nice rooms and clean sheets and super location

My card doesn't work and I wanted to extend my stay for a few more days. The administrator asked to do this only using the application. I wanted to pay in cash on the spot for the same price, but the price in cash is more expensive.

Few Suggestions. Bed is too hard, Getting backpain daily morning. Keep comfortable soft bed please. Young Male Staffs are Good. But few little aged staff behavior is not Good. Water issues to be addressed. 3 Times I faced in my Trip. And Importantly, At least one Good Young staff should be in this property. Because most of the time they're in another property of this Hostel

Most of the Good staffs are in another property. Some time no person to understand english and reply. Water issues were there 3 times in my stay. One staff (little fat and little aged person in green t shirt) is much irritated person, when guests are addressing water issues, he is keep on laughing not able to understand and solve any issues. Finally the Young Guys only took initiative. Please keep a glass door between reception and outside area, because people smoking is coming inside the reception area. Also keep some fan in reception and break fast and sitting area. Because it's too hot and smell badly because of smoking in the shoe keeping area
Room is Spacious and Good. Few Staffs are Good. Good Location. I can stay in my next trip too. Already I stayed here. I have few Suggestions

Staff don't speak much English, but they were still very kind, the mattresses were hard as a rock, the air conditioning was too high and too cold at night. I didn't sleep well to be honest, but it wasn't Terrible either. It's good value for money.
Location, good internet, good place to meet other travelers, good value for money, decent hot water for a shower, relatively clean, there is air con at night and our room had a little balcony- decent place for 1 or 3 nights max -you can also rent motorbikes and there was breakfast of you wake up from 7 to 10am.

We arrived and there was not staff. We needed to call them in order to do our check-in.
Nice location. Lockers are available. Bathroom inside of the room. Simple room. We were a group of five and we were all together in a 6 bes dorm. This hostel is a good choice for one night with friends.

These are only comments that can be easily changed without extra cost as the hostel is very cheap and can't ask too much: Rooms always open without keys to lock. Fortunately there were small lockers on the corridor. There was only a charging socket for the lower beds. I had to be charging my phone on others bed..
Can't complain with such price. It was virtually free 178 THB per 3 nights! Was close to some of the most crowded night bars (5 min walking)
