How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nice big room with comfy bed, fridge & kettle. Quiet location, walking distance to the market. It didn’t feel like a hotel… as the rooms take up most of the street. It felt like you had rented a small studio apartment. Great place an en route stop off. Friendly staff.

Interesting place, unique format...some rooms don't have windows but that meant i slept very well and they were clean and comfy. Perfect location in the city. Cute staff. Super value. Everything was easy here and will return

No window in the room, but ok for 1-2 nights.
Good location and helpful staff. Information fot things to do in the area. They even served breakfast, which we didn't know (simple rice porridge).

- As a vegetarian I did not have a lot of options for breakfast because the congee had chicken in it - but it was not a big deal I ate outside :) - The rooms are not very soundproof, you hear neighbours a lot as well as passing motorbikes - fortunately there's not a lot of traffic in the alley
- Very good option for a night in transit - Close to the train station (walkable distance) - Close to the centre's restaurants - Located in a quiet alley - Very friendly staff - The price is very affordable

Just for your information: The rooms have no windows. They are buildt into an old market building, so they are all inside of it. What looks like windows in the pictures are sometimes mirrors and sometimes windows that don't go anywhere. For one night that was perfectly okay. Just maybe of interest for some people.
Very functional for an overnight stop in Chumphon. Good price. Very clean and very stylish. Little asian breakfast included (congee with fresh toppings) Perfect for one night.

No windows in the room.
A very comfortable, clean, and spacious room for a couple of nights. There is air-conditioning and the bed was large and comfy. Easy walking distance from the train station. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in the middle of town, surrounded by shops and street food options. You can rent a scooter directly from the staff. The minivan to Prachuap leaves from behind the hotel, the bus station and the minivan station to Ranong are also within the walking distance.

I was unlucky because that night, staff, neighbours or a guest group had a party next doors and on the courtyard.

Only one sheet on bed with a blanket. Shower didn’t drain. Breakfast was not good. Weird set up for locking door, but it worked. I lit a mozzie coil as there were mozzies in room & gaps under doors etc to let more in.

A quirky and unusual hotel, with clean spacious rooms. Staff were very welcoming and there was a small breakfast of coffee, cookies and rice porridge provided. Hotel is ideally located near to train station and night market.

Very nice hotel in a central location, restaurants, shops in walking distance. The architecture and atmosphere is very interesting and charming, because it was a local shopping mall before. Car park available. The bigger rooms are nice and comfortable, enough space for luggage and other stuff. In the center, but quiet. Free coffee and breakfast, the rice soup with chicken and vegetables is delicious, if you add some spices like ginger! Very friendly staff, especially the roommaid Sai Jai is allways very friendly and helpful! We have been here several times and will come back for sure!

The breakfast is not really a breakfast. It is just some cookies and plain rice. Little bit disappointed about that point
The room were big and spacious. It was clean. The hotel have a very good location.

The place is quite, but walls are very thin and you hear your neighbours
The manager was super positive and helpful. I had a problem with taxi to the airport in early morning, we were close to miss the plane, but he organised transfer at 6 am! The atmosphere is creative and made with love. Unexpectedly light breakfast is available.
