This is an amazing place. A absolute gem of a hostel. If your looking for a hostel on the island then go to this one. Super nice vibes and atmosphere. Amazing people are super welcoming and helpful and kind. Stay here it's wonderful.

Really nice hostel close to the pier so you don’t have to walk too far with your big back from the ferry :)) The staff knew everyone’s name which I thought was a nice touch.

The hostel is a real gem: well managed and well positioned for easy access from the mainland and for further exploration of the island. Its main selling proposition, however, is Golf - the supremely sociable owner.

I didn’t like having to leave after a week there :-(

The owner, Golf, is an absolute legend! Always in a good mood and willing to provide information regarding where to go, what to eat, etc. on the island. He is also the best fisherman in all of Thailand. The Hostel is is absolutely clean and cozy, with a nice atmosphere. I met some really great people here.

I loved the location and how handy it was from the pier an the main beach, shops, restaurants… But the best of Sandaze is not the hostel but the owners!!!! They helped and guided me on every question I had. Golf and Holly made my days at Koh Samet, unforgettable!!!!

The bed at most places are always hard in Thailand.

The owner is really nice. Privacy with own sliding door to each bed. Bathroom toilet and showers are separate. They keep it clean every day. Quick walk from the pier maybe like 5 mins but everything great. Would recommend this place.

The floors in the dorm and bathroom floor were quite dirty with sand. This is to be expected at a beach town, though! I recommend bringing indoor slippers.

The staff is great, the bed is very private, there is ample locker space, the location is super convenient, and the front patio area is smoker-friendly!

The beds were too hard. The mattress was only like 2 cm thick and it felt like you were sleeping on the ground. Our backs were hurting after the first night. The trash cans in the toilet stalls could be bigger, so the toilet paper fits more easily.

The dorm beds had wooden doors, so it gave you more privacy than curtains.

The host was really nice and helpful. He does everything so that you have a nice stay. The hostel is small, so it’s easy to connect with other backpackers, even though on the island are more couples and family’s. I had a really nice time and would always come back. It’s nice that you have some private space in the cabins.

The boss have muscle body and he is a sunshine boy smiling all the time make you feel welcome when I leave the island he send me to the boat side he is humor and kindness when I come back I definitely choose his hostel again.in the hostel you can meet people from all over the world every body nice and easy to chat we share stories and experiences.
