Breakfast was fine, cooked fresh and with a menu choice. Excellent fruit choice (cherries, melon etc.), real coffee. The whole place was immaculately clean, tidy and quiet.

The window in the room faced the corner of the walls of nearby building. There was no light coming from it - thus, the window was practically non-existant. I did not spend much time in the room, so it did not bother me, but I know for some people it is an important thing. The water in the shower had trouble mixing: it was always either too hot or too cold.

A really new, fresh building with some beautiful unusual design. The room was spacious and sparkling clean, cleaned regularly and very neat. The best part of staying in MACEO was the staff though - the receptionists went out of their way to help me with various arrangements: they helped me to find a driver with a car for travelling around the area, sorted my train schedule and were always ready to help. The desk is 24 hours, so somebody was always present. Also, a very nice bonus is that they bring fruits to the room every day free of charge.

The air-conditioning throughout the rooms is excellent, however the foyer area can be quite hot when the sun is on the large windows. Not a show stopper and a minor detail

This is an outstanding clean property. The staff are magnificent and more than willing to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast, which was included, was the best breakfast I have ever seen provided by a hotel, this includes many countries. I highly recommend and will definitely stay here again on my return.

Even though was a very nice hotel it’s a bit overpriced compared to others in other towns in the North East. Car park underneath hotel is very small for the size of hotel

Very close to the Mekong river promenade which is probably the best in Thailand as it’s so long for walks and cycling. Looks a new hotel. When booking worth including the breakfast as you can literally eat anything off there whole menu, although don’t leave anything.

This was a beautiful property that was immaculately maintained. The front desk staff were super friendly and overall extremely helpful - thank you! The best mango and sticky rice of our entire trip in Thailand was out the front entrance and right next to the hotel on the right (don't remember the name). Also recommend a trip to the rum distillery if you want an off the beaten path experience.

The price was too high for what you get, the Italian design is not really Italian, more something in between gipsy and rococo style. Unfortunately some very noisy machines on the roof which keep you from sleeping. Windows are tiny in the cheaper (but still expensive) rooms, as is the bathroom.

Staff is extremely nice, location fine. Bed very comfortable, except for pillow. Breakfast nice if you like a heavy meal but some essentials are missing. Clean rooms.

There was no way to pay online, but I received threatening emails if I didn't pay in advance. The payment system must be improved. The room and parking lot were very cramped, but the staff did everything they could to make them very functional.
