The location is not ideal. Phang Nga is not a big town by any means, but you cannot walk anywhere from the hotel safely.

Breakfast was the typical, Thai-style buffet. It was not exceptional but it was fine. The building itself is very new. Wifi, hot water—everything works very well. Once the swimming pool is complete, it will be a very pleasant place to stay,.

    Nothing to dislike

The rooms are very well appointed, spacious and clean. There was no noise disturbance. The staff were helpful. Breakfast was included with several food options. Well located for visiting Phang Nga Bay and other beauty spots. Will definitely use this hotel again.

This was a great value hotel to use as a base to see Phang Nga national park. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. They were able to organise private tours of the park that were also very enjoyable and affordable. The room was spacious, clean and had an excellent shower. At the end of my stay, the staff offered to arrange for the public minivan service to pick me up from the hotel, enroute to Krabi, where I was heading next. Despite being a solo traveller, I received personal care and attention from the very professional staff, who were also extremely busy with a large group of tourists also staying at the hotel at the time. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone planning to visit the national park.

    1. Parking lots should have roof. 2. Hygiene during breakfast. Staff should wear or prepare gloves for guests. The distance between table was not enough.

location is easy to find. Near main road and close to bus station. Family suite room is spacious. I didn’t use any facilities and I cannot find the swimming pool but is not a problem.

    booking.com gives the wrong location!

    • Solo traveller

This hotel is far away from the town and not only 400 meters as Booking.com says. The map in Booking.com also give the wrong location. Hotel Le Erawan is actually near the busstation, way south of town. This is no problem if you have your own wheels. But if not, it is a problem. Walking is too far, and too dangerous because of the heavy traffic. Taxis or tuktuks or ... don't seem to be available. The hotel would greatly improve their service if they could just call a taxi driver. Now they can't and while they do their best to provide ad hoc solutions (fe the hotel employees brought us by motorbike!) that didn't solve our transportation problem.

The hotel is good (rooms, bathroom, wifi etc). We enjoyed the bar, with the live music and the gin tonics. Opposite the hotel there are a few restaurants (KFC, pizza, halal) and shops. Also within walking distance there is a fantastic park, Somdet Phra Srinagarindra Park Thai Chang. The caves are absolutely spectacular. The monkies were great fun. While we were there (January 2022) one gate was closed but the other gate was wide open. Not within walking distance you'll find an interesting temple, Tham Ta Pan. This temple is also called Heaven and Hell temple because of it shows us what hell looks like. Most people come here to visit Ao Phang Nga, the famous national marine park. You'll go to the pier car and from there by long tail boat.
