Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

EgyptHow can I start .. everything is awful 1- I arrived from airport to hotel at 10 pm but I was shocked that the reception is closed .. and I didn’t know how can I reach to the receptionist.. Normally any foreigner doesn’t have internet in mobile .. So I start asking people in the street for internet so I can reach to receptionist.. guess what the only way you can reach through message on Facebook.. after 15 the receptionist come and told me we are closing the reception from 9 pm till next day !!!!!!! 2- after going to second floor ( no elevator ) we reach the room .. second surprise the the A/C doesn’t work .. so they change the room for another one in third floor ( no elevator with many bags . 3- second day ..after long out in beach and shopping when we back at 9 pm third surprise that the room had not been cleaned .. with aunts everywhere ( bed and floor ) and you can’t call any body cause the reception close at 9 pm . It was one of the most bad nightmares in travel to reserve in that hotel . PLEASE DONT RESERVE
