Everything was perfect there

The second stay in a short sequence at the PanPan hostel. Cleanliness, a view from the window to the surroundings, comfortable beds, windows with insect screens, a safe in the room and a very pleasant kitchen on the floor and a cozy terrace right on the roof

Everything was more than ok.

The first trip to Asia and the first place was Bangkok. We chose the location where I want to live and then chose from the offer on Booking. We were looking for a quiet room with a view of the city and a private bathroom. We´ve got Family Room with Private Bathroom. Clean, simple, spacious and bright. Air conditioning was not a requirement, but a pleasant bonus. As well as a safe in the room. Both things became a requirement later in the search. PanPan Hostel was more than a pleasant surprise and fulfilled everything to the letter. Our room was on the top floor. It is true that there is no elevator and the stairs are quite steep, but the view was worth it. It is challenged already on the ground floor, and cleanliness and order reigned everywhere. Both owners were always helpful and it was great to talk to them as well as give advice on a planned trip, where to eat or other services (in my case, where to get my torn pants sewn up). A nice terrace on the top floor, a kitchenette and coffee or tea at the reception are also a bonus. A surprise was also the possibility to have a few pieces of clothing washed completely free of charge and you could wear them clean the next day. The shower was big enough and it's the only hostel where we found hygiene bags for used toilet paper. Great. I highly recommend and greet you from home.

The living area is small and people were hardly available to interact. If you are looking to socialize during your time here then this hostel is not for you. The alley of the hostel looks shady and I din't really like the vibe of it initially, later I got used to it.

The Hostel is neat and clean and is just 5 minutes walking distance from the main road. The hostel feels like an asian house where you remove your slippers and get insider and the entire building structure gives you a feeling of living in a joint family except that not many interact.

No lift, only the narrow stairs. they arrange room at 4th level and we have to carry all the luggage’s by ourselves up to 4th level. Suitable for backpackers but x suitable for family staycation

You have to climb up the narrow stairs to your room. The room is not 100% soundproof and our door knob has malfunctioned during the last day of our stay.

Room is very basic and clean. The hostel allowed us to check-in early and they provide a laundry service (3 pieces of clothes per person/day). They also have a kitchen at the rooftop, iron at Level 3, and tea/coffee are provided at the reception area for free. All in all, we love the homey vibes at PanPan Hostel !

When we arrived the bin in our allocated bathroom was full and stayed full for the next day. Just not very nice when you have to put toilet paper in these bins and it wasn’t our trash. Just hope the bathroom was cleaned well between guests. Again, minor thing and didn’t take away from the stay at all!

For the price this place is great. Location is handy it’s just a short walk to train. There are lots of little restaurants nearby. You can get 3 items of clothing washed a day for free (so handy). Staff are nice. Rooms had A/C. All in all very happy with this stay.

You have to pay by cash and I wasn’t aware of it which was a little inconvenient.

It was a very nice stay. My room was spacious and clean. There was not much decoration in the room. It was just functional (what else would you need), a bed, a table and chair, hangers for your clothes, and I even had my own bathroom connected to the room (also clean!). This was all I needed, and I felt safe. There is a 7 eleven close by (which is always a plus) and a temple. And as a vegan, there were some great vegan places close to the hostel (you can walk there). You really get a nice room for a fair price.

The first days the Wifi was really bad and unstable, but on the last days it was working fine.

We had a pleasant time at PanPan Hostel. The staff is very friendly and nice. The place is really quite, it's perfect for a good sleep. We haven't slept so well in a long time. Our room was spacious, clean and comfy. Great shower. The location is also good, 10 minutes by foot to the next skytrain station. Restaurants and street food nearby as well. In about 20 minutes by foot you can reach the pier where the boats leave. We had a late flight out of Bangkok and we could use the common facilities such as the shared shower before our flight. Free tea and coffee and free laundry for a couple of pieces per day!

Everything perfect.

Very clean Hostel in a quite place but well located to explore the city. Essential room but very comfortable and the shared bathroom always clean. Laundry service for free (3 pieces per day) and a nice rooftop. Staff very kind and helpful. Excellent value for money.

The location is great. Close to everything. Transport, street food, financial institutions, stores and big malls. However, the priceless bonus is the Panpan staff! What lovely people, constantly aware of your requests. I strongly recommend Panpan hostel.

If you go with a group of friends, this place has losts of public toilet that saving time for us a lot in the preparation in the morning, no need to wait for the turn in our private toilet. It's very clear and clean . This hostel is very quite at night make us have a good sleep.

Efficient. Well organized. Comfy. Good location but tucked away in a cosy alleyway. Close to public transport and good food options. Hosts, Ta and May, are incredibly helpful.
