How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Aircon wasn’t good and paid extra for a sea view but the balcony is big enough for one person.

Hotel Staff Is totally corrupt. Staff is involved in scam with nearby laundry to get commissions for washing bed sheets, towels etc. hotel staff blackmail guests. They make you pay thousands of Bucks for a small lipstick's patch on pillow cover or towel or bedsheet which otherwise can be removed during regular washing. When we went to neighboring laundry we saw our Hotel's many room numbers listed on their receipt book. Thus we came to know about this scam. I suggest to completely avoid this hotel. Save yourself from embarrassment.

Great hotel. Wonderful staff reception when we first walked in. Place was keen with a touch of luxury. Perfect location and minutes walk from everything. Room and beds were lovely. We had a sea view which was a treat. Place was clean, quiet and with a large room.

hotel staff accused us of stealing bathrobe. they check our bags but found nothing. but still they charged us 1000 THB for the bathrobe. it was a scam done by the housekeeping staff of the hotel.

Staff not helpful and seemed aggressive. Pretending not to understand English but at other times were speaking in English. Small flies on Breakfast spread of fruits & bread really put you off. The reviews by others seemed fake since booked this property on those reviews

Staff not helpful, didn't feel welcomed. No parking lot on site, had to share with adjacent hotel but only 10 slots. The hotel rents a garage 300 m. away but took additional 30 min. to go & walk back in scorching sun to the hotel.
Good location, 30 m from the beach. Spacious and clean room.

At the time of check out they asked for extra money. During cleaning the room, house keeping staff will take towels, pillows and then during check out, the guest is asked to pay. Indians should not stay, staff is too rude, and breakfast has no options for Indians

No change of sheets and bathrobes, lack of amenities. The dryer was broken. The scenery is nothing. I asked from the reservation site, but there was no answer.

There is nothing not to like, can't go wrong with this hotel!
So happy we picked to stay at Seaview Hotel, it was the perfect place to arrive to after a long haul flight with a lot of luggage, there were kind staff to help us straight away when getting out of the taxi, they took all of our luggage to our room, very friendly helpful staff on reception too! We were very suprised when we saw the room, it was quite big more like an apartment! Nice robes and slippers to wear down to the pool, had a great nights sleep and we were able to store our luggage for a couple of days while we went to koh larn, came back and stayed another night on our return, will be back again for sure!! Really great value for money!

We thought the pool would be on the rooftop with an amazing view as it’s advertised that way on socmed. It was nice and clean but it wasn’t what we expected. Location wise, it’s not as nearby to the “central” of Pattaya as expected. we had to walk quite far to the attraction.
The staff were really helpful, room is clean, the rooftop bar has an amazing view!

Our Family Room booked and paid from 3 weeks before, given to other guest. So when we came, we were forced to downgrade to double room. The staff pretend they dont know in the beginning, just gave us wrong room key. Hotel cannot do anything, we have to complain to Booking.com ourself.

I reserved one doubled bed and bath room. Firstly, I may didn't get one double bed. I tell them. I want. Then, I will got it but the bathroom. I resevered bathroom but I got shower. I didn't know when i stayed. Very diappointment. Another, Very small swimming pool.
