Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Thailand- TV had no signals. It was not a slightest of an issue but still if the TV is there I expect it to work fine.
Perfect location. Extremely friendly and caring host. I booked a small room and it do not have a fridge but there is a fridge in the reception area that you can use to keep your food and drinks. If you have empty water bottle you can fill it from the dispenser at the reception. Room was spacious enough. Bed was very comfortable. A/C works nice and also there is a fan that makes the heat bearable when you have just entered the room and A/C was not on. Location is so convenient..its a 2-3 mins walk from the train station. Some of the major attractions of Lop Buri are within the walking distance from this guesthouse...for example "Phra Prang Sam Yot","King Narai Palace","King Narai National Museum". If you walk around the property there are many other historical sites that are not so popular but interesting. Pee is a very friendly host and she tries her best to take care of you as much as possible. After checking out I left my bag at the guesthouse. It was extremely hot outside so when I came back I was in a mess. She easily let me use the toilet in the reception area and she even said that if I can wait for 10 mins then I can also take a shower in the bathroom above (same room in which I stayed) once staff is done cleaning it. One thing that pleasantly surprised me was the size of the bathroom. It was spacious although outside the room because room is small..but still I had no privacy issues. And there were multiple shampoos and lotions to use. At 10pm the main entrance to the reception is locked but you can use back entrance and also there is a key that you can use to unlock the main entrance. Another thing that made my stay pleasant was a small chair kind of thing (stool) that I could sit on and put my laptop on the table and work easily. There is also a dedicated light above the mirror for the table that lits the table area very well. Highly highly recommended.

CanadaBike rental was quite expensive (300 baht per day) so we passed.
Pee is a charming, gregarious host who also does a good Thai massage for a very reasonable rate. Her place is very nice and even has a cool foot massage machine in the common area available for guests to use for free. The room we stayed in was lovely - good size, A/C, fridge, cabinets for clothes, water and coffee, dishes and utensils, well equiped. She also went above and beyond when my partner and I were stranded after leaving the fun Z-ONE Night Market at 8pm on a Wednesday, and found that there were no taxis, tuktuks, songtaews or transportation of any kind available. Luckily we had a Thai SIM card and I was able to call Pee who discharged her cousin to come get us. It was quite the experience riding helmetless three up on the scooter! Thanks Pee and cousin...we really appreciate your kindness and hospitality. It's also walking distance to the train station and all the main sites...monkees are everywhere!

FranceEverything was perfect !
Just perfect ! The guesthouse is located a 3min walk from the train station and it's a really silent neighbourhood, there are no monkeys jumping from roof to roof which is good when you want to actually sleep at night ! We are also a 5min walk from the main attractions such as the Monkey Temple, the City's museum, and the night market. The room was clean and the A/C worked perfectly ! The host was a really kind and helpful lady. She also does massage is the guesthouse and it's quite cheap. I highly recommend !!!

GreeceAs long as one isn't expecting a five-star hotel it's a very decent place to stay. Good value for money. If I go to Lop Buri again I will stay there again.

Czech RepublicThe only thing I can think of is probably the lack of hot water in the shower but it wasn't that bad. :)
Great location next to the train station and night market, as well as some of the historical landmarks. It's a quiet neighborhood except for some of the local fauna (there were monkeys having fun on the roof in early morning hours but it seems to have been a rare occasion). The room (had the larger one) is well furnished, there's an AC, fridge and hot water for you to use. The host is very friendly and helpful, you can also book a massage with her. It was a pleasure.

United KingdomThe room is up a steep flight of stairs, decorated in a very personal style and a little worn. And there’s only a cold shower and no real natural light. Probably suited to younger travellers.
Great location in an authentic, traditional, quiet, residential area but close enough to all the attractions, particularly handy for the railway station. Lovely owner and niece (?) offering a warm welcome, tours, haircuts and wonderful massages. Feels very safe.

SpainLow water pressure in the shower, but the owner offered us to use a different one on another floor, which we didn't try.
Very friendly local experience. Great massage. Best place at a local street 100% Thai experience, no foreigners in the zone but just 2 minutes from the monkey temple, 7/11, and the night market, which grows triple in size every Wednesday.

LatviaThe place is very basic, there is no hot water plus the water gets cut completely from 10 pm until the next morning. That in turn causes air in the pipes and when I first tried to use the shower, the shower head literally exploded in my hands from the pressure and I got lucky that I didn't get hurt. The windows open to an enclosed walkway and there is no natural daylight in the room. The host was very friendly but really into social media and at times I felt like I was being used as a prop for content creation. One last thing - this is not directly related to the property and hasn't affected my rating for the place, but a word of caution to other travellers - the host took me for a bike ride in the evening and we got attacked by a pack of dogs baring teeth. The host didn't think any of it, so I had to insist that I wanted to stop the ride and return to the property. So just beware that there are a lot of stray dogs in Lopburi and some of them are aggressive.
The location of the place is very good - close to both touristy things and the train station.
