An incredibly warm welcome from Golf who looked after us so well during our stay. A lovely room with everything we needed and spotless. The beach was a short walk away and lots of shops and restaurants close to hand too. We had been travelling for three weeks and came to Lamai to relax for a few days before returning home. A fabulous place to finish our holiday.

A little disappointed with the pool area, small, abit overgrown and pool not very clean. However for our stay this wasn't the ems of the world as we spent a lot of time at the beach. Odd ant here or there in the room but to be expected ls

Room smallish but has everything that you need, room was very cosy and clean. Bed comfortable and large! Facilities in the room, decetn. Bathroom could maybe be updated slightly. However, no real issues at all. Basic amenities and a breath stay. Golf extremely lovely and couldn't do anymore to assist. Messagjng constantly asking questions about our stay and she was very very helpful. Always willing to help. She and her family live on site so she is always available if you ever need her. Can't say enough about Golf and how lovely her and her family are. Gree water bottles every morning and all the amenities you need. She helped us book a ferry when all sold out and even waves us off when we left.

We liked everything!

It’s right in the centre of everything in Lamai- close to bars and restaraunts etc, and the host is so helpful! She helped us rent a moped (150 baht a day) and was very informative if we had any questions. The room is lovely and spacious. The air con is strong, the room gets cleaned daily and you get free water every morning outside your room. Tea and coffee gets replenished daily. Also a lovely little bonus for us, you have your very own little rooftop! It’s basic, but we liked this of an evening. The pool is nice but again basic. However- you don’t come to Thailand to sit around a pool all day!

everything was absolutely great, the owner is very nice and friendly. the room is spacious and clean, it’s quiet at night. they have access to the roof from your rooms which is a great bonus for the sunset view. close to the beach and lots of food options, shops just steps away I will come back

nothing it was perfect!

We stayed here for a week and everything was perfect! Golf is so lovely and friendly and makes you feel so comfortable, she has thought of everything so the rooms are super comfy and spotlessly clean. You also have a lot of privacy which is nice and the location is perfect. Golf gave suggestions of where to eat and helped us rent a motorbike, she also arranged transport for us to the pier which was so helpful!

Everything about our stay was perfect. The rooms are beautifully decorated, modern and clean. Golf is so kind and welcoming, she upgraded our room for us and was available to help whenever we needed. She booked us a day trip to Angthong National Park which was amazing. The location is perfect, very close to the beach and lots of places to eat. Thank you Golf for a wonderful stay

I could not fault a single thing wrong with this property, a flawless 7 night stay!

I really don’t know where to start when stating what I liked about Phannarai House but I’ll definitely start by saying a HUGE thank you to the amazing Golf. Not only did she manage all of the bookings, she cleaned the room flawlessly, was an incredible help and was a true delight to see on a daily basis as she was always smiling despite all the hard work she was doing. Upon arrival she was waiting for us and immediately checked us into our room, gave us all the information we needed about the accommodation and even upgraded us to a bigger room for free! Golf even went to the shop and bought us some snacks for the evening and left them in our room on one of the nights as well. The location was absolutely incredible, a 3 minute walk to the beach, 10 minute walk to the main town and loads and loads of bars and massage parlours almost right on the front door step. If you’re looking to get incredible service, a good nights sleep and to save money whilst doing so, please come to Phannarai House, Golf deserves the guests, especially after COVID. You will not be disappointed! :)

Internet could be better but it was still not the worse one, we could watch movies online almost without issues.

Hi All was perfect. The apartment was clean and tidy and contained everything needed. What I liked - everything was covered with ceramics, even bed was connected with the floor with ceramics, I mean, there was no space between floor and bed - the reason why I liked it was that there were lots of living creatures outside of the apartment and I was worried that some lizzards could hide inside and make their noise at night (we had such expirience before and trust me, you don't want to hear lizzards songs over your head at night). So, I think I saw one or two ants inside and that's it - really rare case for Thailand. The landlady cleaned the apartment every day and I must say she was very tactful and never bothered us - we usually woke up after 12PM, so the owner waited while we leaved the apartment and only after that she made the cleanup. The landlady brought us 2 bottles of water every day, and sometime she made some small unexpected gifts, like coconut or cola or beer :-), she arranged taxi from airport and back and was always very kind and helpful. So, to be short, it was really nice place, especially if you take into account the price ( Hello Golf, if you read this, you have to sell your appartments more expensive, especially after my feedback, haha :-) ) The location was quite good also. Just in front of the gates of the area, where the appartments were located we had a fruitmarket and the restaurant of Thai food called Moonlight - I can recommend it. The service in Moonlight restaurant was far from perfect (they often forgot what we ordered or we had to wait very long) but they knew how to cook and their seefood was the best in the area so we visited them many times despite all the issues with service. Also, there were several Italian restaurant, we found also Chineese and Indian restaurants - so, you have options to choose, because we couldn't eat Thai food everyday.

The air conditioner was noisy in the room. Like new but for some reason it was very noisy.

Great, comfortable cottages. To the beach 5 minutes walk. Purely. Wonderful hostess, thank you very much! We were allowed to check out later at no extra charge. I will definitely return!

Best location to stay! The owner is so sweet, she will help you with anything. The room is perfect, cleaned every day, and really cosy with everything you need in it. So happy we came here!

We had LOTS of big flying ants that would crawl on us during the evening and night, every night was a struggle to keep them away, we had to sleep with a light on and freezing AC as it helped keep them away a little bit, Golf sprayed the room when we told her but it didn't help much. It might have been because the room was empty a few days before we arrived and it was the hot season but it was very annoying. The shower heater didn't ger the water to be too hot, it was indeed really hot in the bathroom so it was ok, but still you sometimes just want a hot shower and that was disappointing.

Golf is amazing and so nice, she was very attentive on whatsapp and helped with everything we needed. The shower was really big, we got 2 water bottles every morning, the wifi was good and the location was calm.

A little basic but clean enough, pool not very usable no sunbeds & as basic as it gets. Roof terrace narrow steps up & again unusable nowhere to sit. Accomodation was a little twee needs updating.

The location was great, host very friendly.Price was very cheap. If you want somewhere to sleep for little money then this accomodation is perfect for you.

-there were a few ants around but nothing that really bothered us

-has everything you can think of- there’s bowls, plates, cutlery and cups in the room and washing up stuff too which was very useful, large fridge with freezer area, kettle and coffee/tea, sewing kit, umbrellas, storage space for clothes, rooftop area, pool area, aircon, comfortable bed, drying rack for clothes, hot shower, daily cleaning and free bottled water -it’s clear they really care about you having a comfortable stay with everything you could possibly need -the owner was also lovely and very welcoming -good location- only a 2 min walk to the closest 7/11 and just down the road from that is Lamai beach. Also only a couple mins walk from the night market and lots of restaurants and bars. -would definitely recommend
