How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The staff at the resort were very helpful, attending to all our needs and small requests. The resort itself is not very large, but it has everything you need, including a nice pool in the center. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Koh Phangan.

Sadly no direct access to the beach, and the beach nearby is not really nice when compared to other beaches on the island. We rented a scooter so it was all good, but worth noting.
The resort is a very small nice looking. It gives an intimate feeling as there are just a few bungalows. The apartment was clean and it had everything you may need. The girls that worked at the reception are super nice and friendly.

the wifi was really not the best for us most of the time. Also the showers were confusing since it was either steaming hot or rather cold water coming out
staff were exceptionally friendly! the bungalows are nice and its definitely a cool place to chill, rather quiet. location was decent, lots of good nearby options for food. had everything we needed. They also offered to do the laundry which was convenient as a backpacker. And with a scooter u can get around the island pretty swiftly & explore lots of nice beaches.

Lack of lighting around the bungalow and no signs for the location so slightly hard to find. Think they could up the vibe a bit. Was lovely and chilled but maybe to chilled.
Bungalow was fantastic, quite modern. Pool area was great. Location was very quiet, few minutes walk from road and beach. If you're looking for a quiet, chilled stay, this is perfect.

The reception/food area isn’t open until late, so unable to purchase food/water at night.
The bungalows are finished to a high standard, super clean and comfortable and lovely staff. Great service and v relaxing!

For us the bed and pillow were way too firm
Fantastic central location close to the parties offered on the island but the hotel is set back on a quiet street near the beach. The bungalow was nice and bright and we enjoyed the sun lounges and music by the pool.

Was listed as pay in advance, but the money was never taken and we had to pay on arrival but we didn’t have 9.7k baht on us so had to pay an extra 3% fee for card. Had we of known it was pay at property we would have had the cash. Apart from that everything was great.
Really nice resort, very quiet but still close enough to restaurants, 7-11, jungle and full moon parties. Very clear and pool was lovely. Staff were very nice and food was decent. It’s also close to the night market, cafe vintage which was really nice for food and drinks in the evening.

Nothing- all amazing
Such a lovely accommodation, really friendly and helpful staff. We had a delicious breakfast each morning which was reasonably priced. We could rent a bike, get our laundry done and order a taxi to the pier. A super place to stay!

Location is good if you have a scooter, there is a beach closeby but we didn't go. facilities are good and there is also a pool. We were looking for a base to which discover the island and was perfect. You can rent a scooter in the hotel without leaving passport or 5.000$ like people ask in the port, you just leave the passport to the hotel,

I did not like the bed. The mattress was to hard for me. But that can be personal taste. Also there was a cat that occasionally came inside our room. We did not mind and thought she was cute. Might be a problem for allergic people.
The staff was really really nice and friendly. They brought me a cake on my birthday! Also the resort is pretty small which makes it really comfortable and personal. Service and food is perfect. Pool was really nice. Very close to nice beach. Highly recommend renting a bike from Sop next to the resort.
