Nice little cottages on a beautiful long beach. Nothing fancy but very comfortable and welcoming. Restaurant on site and more up and down the beach. we really enjoyed our stay here and would come back again.

The bungalows are equipped quite basic. This is on the one hand part of the great „back to the roots“ atmosphere. On the other hand some additional hooks for towels in the bathroom and a small extra shelve in the main room for sun cream and all the stuff that is flowing around would be perfect, especially when travelling as family.

Great familiar atmosphere with beautiful sunsets at the long beach. Sonja and Nicki are really great hosts and it was always nice to talk to them, sometimes until late at night :) Moreover, Nicki is a fantastic chef. Together with the kitchen team he served nice dishes, starting from traditional Thai over Italian up to self made jam or cheesecake. Friends is also a great place for children. Our five year old daughter quickly found new friends and loved to play with Bobby and the other dogs and animals around. Many thanks for everything, friends! We are looking forward to seeing you again soon next year :)

We only get 2 water refills a day. The rest you have to pay for. Bathroom is open air (partially covered) so expect bug and frog neighbors. There's a mosquito net and door to keep them out of the bedroom- had no issues here.

Beachfront access! You can spend your slow mornings having a delicious breakfast from their restaurant right off the beach. It's a great spot to catch the sunset over the water as well. Kind and helpful staff. Our bungalow was quaint, but lovely and everything we needed. No AC but you get a fan. The grounds are beautiful. Could easily bum it there for a long time.

The bungalow was quite run down - ours particularly so compared to others. There was an outside bathroom, which we expected, but wasn’t that well looked after (eg ants nests growing in the shower). The bed wasn’t very comfy. Rooms are cleaned every four days which for a beachfront property isn’t enough. Compared to our other hotels/stays in Thailand or similar properties nearby, this was more expensive per night.

Beautiful beach front location, right in the middle of Aow Yai. Really friendly hosts and fantastic food for great prices.

Not a major issue, but rooms are only cleaned when you ask or every 4 days. Also there is no kettle for hot water in each room, this little addition would be nice, but the staff did get me hot water when asked. No daily bottled water is issued, which once again in not a major issues, but even some water in a thermos in each room would be nice to have.

The staff were very helpful and both the owners/managers as well. The little restaurant on site does great food too, and is reasonably priced. Location is Everything and this place has it, that is the majority of the units have a direct view of the beach and at night, one can lay in bed and hear the waves crash on the beach. The general location of the resort is not too far from several stores and restaurants, which makes it easier if you do not have a scooter.

The owners are super lovely! The bungalows are nice, clean, and have misquito screens so you don't need to sleep with the misquito net over the bed :) I will be back asap
