It's a bit complicated to get there for the first time, you have to walk through narrow passages and it could be a bit cleaner.

I would say it's the cheapest option, you can meet good people, a lot of temples just by walking and you have a great view of the river.

Great and fun host, Ben is cool! For the price it's great location, cool looking place, easy to cook as well. The river view and decent calm is a blessing in this city. Can chill here for hours.

The whole place smelled a little and the dorm is just one big shed. You have a mattress and a mosquito net. No water refill station. Down some alleys which can make it a little hard to find but we arrived late and found it fine, so wouldn't say it's a problem.

The place was good for one nights stay. It's cheap, and if you're budget then you'll have a roof over you head for the night. If I travelled on my own, I'd stay here to save money. My partner didn't like it.

Some sockets didn't have electricity, not a big deal. Also not a hard thing to fix.

The place is tucked away behind buildings near the pier. It's a great place to rest after a long flight. Beds are hard but comfy and a fan is more than enough for cooling off. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would come back.

Difficult to find at first, but signs in the alley way to help. Lovely lady who helped us as we got lost on the road.

The place could be better maintained

Very peaceful place and next to the water, you almost don’t feel like in the city. Commun areas were great. Staff very friendly and helpful.

It's a little hard to find the first time, although they do a good job of posting signs in the alley ways. Basic and rustic accommodation, but that's what I like, and it's hard to beat the bargain price.

The location is great and the rooms are affordable. However, the dorm needs to be taken down and rebuilt; it's a grass hut that is rife with wood rot and vermin. The dorm has got to go, and only then will I return.

The first night some noisy people talking loud in the night time... second night perfect! And with the earplugs everything was fine!

Ben, the host, is really kind and welcoming! The position of the guesthouse is really good: close to Khao San Road and to many bus stops from where you can easily reach the main attractions in Bangkok. The riverview lives up to the name of the guesthouse...😊

Sheets were clean. Clean floor. It was a friendly place. Very Thai. I liked it. If you are looking for glamorous then it is not for you. It is clean, basic, cheap and good value for money for backpackers

Building is old, thin walls with holes, low ceiling, no free space in the room, only two beds, not comfy. No actual window. Shared bathroom is old and dirty.

River view is great. Location is good, close to the road but quite deep in dirty suburbs. Good wireless connection.

I liked everything. This guest house was absolutely unique and that is why I liked this guest house so much. Even though it was a shared toilet/bathroom but it was still clean. This guest house is a little inside but I would recommend all of you to stay there at least once as the view from the hotel is amazing. It is near the river and one can also see the famous bridge. Food market and bus stop are also nearby.

My recommendation is that atleast they could offer a change of bedding atleast after 2 nights.

The staff were friendky. The rooms were decent but they could improve. I stayed for 3 days. And it's was close proximity to a good restaurant and an amazing view of the river.

Rooms were fairly hot. Rooms and bedding could have been cleaner.

Really cheap and cheerful. Our host wasn’t to be found at the beginning but other staff were able to get us checked into a room.
