If I had to pick something it would just be that there’s not much you can walk to. But honestly it didn’t worry us as we were so happy just being here most of the time (the river is so refreshing in the dry season!)

Everything! Stunning location! Incredibly friendly staff who couldn’t do enough to help us. You can order food to be brought to your room which is mainly freshly cooked Thai food which was delicious. Three of us are vegetarian and one gluten free and they adapted dishes to suit us, helped us arrange taxis and did our laundry. We extended our trip by two days as we loved it so much. For a family with two children who love the water it couldn’t be better. You can dive in straight off the deck and get your own kayak to use when ever you feel. Great location for exploring Erawan Falls too (which I would definitely allow a whole day for if you want to explore all the 7 levels). Would definitely return in future if we have the chance.

Not a problem for me but it’s off the main road 200 meters or so and you’ll need a car, scooter or private driver to visit here and the nearby Erawan Falls. The public bus from Kanchanaburi is old, slow and does not have AC. I’d skip that unless you are a super-budget traveler who does not value comfort.

The rooms are situated directly on a very clean and beautiful river with an incredible view. It’s about four steps from your bed to jumping into the river. If you love to swim this is the place for you. The standard rooms are very basic and close together so if you have neighbors you will easily hear and see them. The family rooms are larger and more private. The breakfast is very basic. It’s an easy 15 minute drive to Erawan Falls and there are some decent places to eat about 7 km up the road. You will need a car or scooter to stay here although it’s a long scooter ride from Kanchanaburi and very very hot. I rented a car for about $30 USD a day and was very happy I did. (Normally I rent scooters)The AC in the car was a lifesaver as it’s very hot here. Get to the waterfall early to avoid the crowds. Nice staff.

Food was not super flavourful and a bit expensive, but it’s OK when it’s brought to your raft house and you’re in the most beautiful place in the world!

If you are not a fan of animals you would not appreciate all the geckos on the porch and in the room but other that that its all great!

The resort was in a amazing location! The staff were super frinedly, the lady who spoke english was super happy and helpfull! We loved how laid back everyone was. You could take the kayaks out onto the lake and go swimming whenever you wanted and the food was served straight to your cabin or up in the resteurant the choice is yours.

It’s not the easiest place to get to, but they helped put us in touch with a taxi driver who took us from kanchanaburi bus station to the resort, it’s about an hours drive, so 800 baht each way so factor this in, but it’s worth it!

We loved our stay here, it was so peaceful and beautiful. The scenery was great, we rented a motorbike to get to shops and Erawan falls which isn’t too far. You can order food from the resort and they bring it to you in the evening which was so nice.

very lovely place, basic but having a fridge in the room and direct access to the river and free canoes gives you all you need to relax in the nature! the mookata service in front of your room is a great feature, delicious!! really suggesting to give it a try if you haven't yet! the staff gave us a river drive even late check in at 5pm, they are just kindest!! :)​

We were woken up by some knocking/scratching in the middle of the night, we do suspect there might be some rodents living in the roof of our room.

Everything about it! The service, amenities, mookata by the river, we couldn't ask for more. Location is near Erawan Falls too.

We stayed only for 3 days/2 nights, but there was no variety when it comes to incuded breakfast. It was the same sausages and fried egg each day.

The resort is relatively new, good standard of raft rooms, new air conditioning, fast Wi-Fi connection, kayak rental included. Perfect proximity to Erawan National Park and not a long car ride from Kanchanaburi. We liked it very much!

Only thing we didn't love was that the private bathroom wasn't accessed directly from the bedroom, so you have to go outside and walk a couple feet to go into the bathroom. Just a minor inconvenience, but good to be prepared for.

There was a lot to like about this hotel! The location of course is amazing, and easy to find with great signage despite the remote location. The room was comfortable with great shelves and storage options for luggage which made up for the somewhat small size. There is also a good size "kitchen room" at the back side of our room with a large sink to wash dishes which was a nice bonus. We were worried about my husband who gets seasick easily but he never felt bad sleeping on the floating dock. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was good with a nice view from the meal area. Note there isn't food served except for breakfast so plan on driving to a restaurant for lunch and dinner. The kids had a lot of fun swimming in the river. The adults did a small amount of kayaking but between the wind and current it was somewhat tough paddling so we didn't let the kids try it. Overall a very nice stay, recommend.

Get ready to disconnect yourself fromt the city Amazing place along the river Kwai, quiet enough to enjoy the nature of the country side. Rooms cosy, clean and comfortable, terrific view! Direct access to the river is fantastic to refresh from a hot sunny day. Free kayaking to enjoy by yourself the sorrounding nature is an amazing idea! Simple breakfast made with care, lunch and dinner available on request ordered directly from a nearby local restaurant. Good location to move to the Erawan National Park.
