This is the perfect hideaway! The accommodation is fantastic - clean, well maintained and luxurious without being showy. The facilities - pools, beach are great. Food is excellent and staff are lovely.

This is my fourth stay at the Pimalai and it remains one of my top picks of all time, and I’ll be back. The unique combination of location, facilities, food and drink, and staff - all individually excellent- makes for a perfect and relaxing break. The 1/2 day-trips to Koh Rok and Koh Haa with spectacular snorkelling are highly recommended by myself - book in advance if you know your dates. The restaurants are great, sunsets spectacular and overall, there is nothing I can suggest to improve.

This is the best hotel we have ever stayed (and we stayed in a lot of 5* hotels), everything is just perfect. Breakfast is amazing, the food, the nature around the hotel, beach, rooms, staff, SPA...basically everything. You feel so welcome. It's just out of this world. I wish we could go there every year.

The rocks, especially when the tide pushed back.

The beach is a long stretch of sand but there are rocks that you have to be aware of when swimming. The hotel has marked a small area that is free from rocks and certainly worth baring in mind with small children that may just freelance. Clean, clear and very warm waters....highly recommended.

The pool is stunning, the breakfast is great, and the villas are absolutely beautiful. Everything is well maintained, and the staff is extremely responsive and attentive. One of the best experiences I've had!

There isn't much to complain about here, except for one thing, the monkeys.. We had a pretty bad and panicky situation at the upper pool. Out of nowhere a large male appears out of nowhere and jumps onto the sun chair (half a meter from my boyfriend - never thought they would come so close) and starts eating our drink decoration. We panicked and tried to scare the monkey away as we were very afraid that he would steal our things (mobile phone, sunglasses etc. were lay open). The monkey was 0 afraid of us and got super aggressiv (showed his teeth and ran after both me, my boyfriend and the staff). Many guests ran from their sunbeds and panic broke out. The staff had to call for a guard who finally managed to scare the monkey away. We were very lucky and no one was hurt. But we were quite traumatized by the incident. I understand that this is not the hotel's fault, but they did not prepare us for this at all and it was obvious that the "monkey-problem" was not something they wanted to talk about much. They continued to decorate the drinks with fruit, although it was obvious that this attracted the monkeys. Heard several stories from both other guests (and staff) about similar incidents. The monkeys were everywhere on the hotel area.

Fantastic staff and service throughout the hotel - 10 out of 10. Transfer to and from Krabi airport is included, they even help you check in at the airport. 3 restaurants (all organize different themed evenings), which gave a wide range and variety of food. The top pool is one of the most beautiful pool areas I have ever seen! Spa was great and great value for money. Sunset from Heritage Bar is amazing.

Double check the dive shop before you go - it was one of our reasons for booking but wasn't running trips during our short stay (they have a sister site in the town that trips where going from)

Everything was perfect. This was our last 3 days of honeymoon and it was a gorgeous time. The hotel gave us a beautiful room, a honeymoon cake, and such a warm welcome. We ate beautiful food, went on the most incredible snorkelling excursion, used the sailing boats on the beach. The attention to detail is so impressive and it was such a treat to stay here.

The quality of the food in the main restaurant did not match the hotel’s standard, except from the breakfast which was the best we ever had. Cars that pick you up and take you around the hotel smell a lot of gasoline.

Extraordinary hotel that feels very luxurious, surrounding by beautiful nature. We were upgraded to a pool villa which was beyond amazing for a little family like us. We did not want to leave! Will definitely return.
