Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IsraelA bit aggressive monkeys hanging around. A little bit far from the center. There is a shuttle service that goes to the night market but the frequency can be better and maybe also adding a stop further on the way. Adding free drinking water in the pool area
The setting is beautiful. Great breakfast. Professional and friendly staff. Clean and quiet. A great pool to chill in

I was very happy to stay in such a natural and beautiful place. Feeding the fish in the lake, the view of the monkeys was beautiful, and the place was comfortable. I was pleased with the staff's response to my request when I asked them to send some personal accessories that I had forgotten to an address in Thailand. They did not disappoint me and responded quickly. Thanks everyone.🫶🤍

FranceSome parts look a bit outdated, our outside chairs were a bit damaged, they could have been changed. The pool temperature was too hot ( I didn’t know it was possible to say that but truly…)
Great hotel in a really quiet place, surrounded by a beautiful landscape. I really liked the breakfast with a large choice and bedrooms, the bed was really comfy. Super friendly staff.

CanadaGreat stay here. Rooms were clean and patio on the lagoon was nice to watch the monkeys play around on the roof. They are curious and will come down and check you out. The restaurant is pricey for the quality but the free shuttle will take you to the market for some amazing food.

Czech RepublicI think they need to increase the shuttle times, they have a free shuttle to the town every two hours and I think it should be more frequent because it is a bit difficult to get to the town or to the beach.
The hotel is beautiful, the staff is amazing and the experience of being in the middle of the jungle is great. The breakfast was great. The swimming pool is amazing, and the view and surroundings are outstanding. There are too many monkeys in the hotel and one day I felt unsafe, I called the reception and they were kind enough to pick me up in my room.

RomaniaThis property was the highlight of our trip. The room was lovely and the hotel was exceptional. The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help us. The location was a short trip to the hustle and bustle of Aong Nang beach and there were free shuttles to and from the hotel. The hotel was quit and the surroundings beautiful.

United KingdomWe had occasionally few ants getting into our room usually in the evening, but they naturally stopped after a few hours. Didn’t bother us much.
Hotel is surrounded by beautiful nature with river on one side and mountains in the back. Bungalows are very comfortable and has everything that you would require for your stay. We were pleasantly surprised that they had interconnected rooms, which was very convenient for the family of 4. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They assisted us a lot with helping to organise trips and taxi transfer. Good breakfast. Monkeys are amazing to watch in their natural habitat. We had a lot of fun. Just don’t feed them and don’t leave your stuff in the balconies 😁.

United KingdomIt was in a perfect part of the world . The views were sensational . It felt wonderful to be in nature . The staff were lovely and so helpful . The rooms were modern and really comfortable.
The Poonsiri Resort was a little piece of paradise in a spectacular setting . The tranquility of the surroundings in nature was perfect . It was great to see the troupes of monkeys arrive at 5.30 in the evening . We saw monitor lizards and even had a view of the elephants next door at the elephant sanctuary.

ThailandNot much I didn't like - only thing I would sad is that it would be good to have a little more music/ambience in the dining area.
What a gem of a place. Located a short car ride away from the beach and night market with lots of things to do in town. Hotel has a bus that takes you to the town and you can get a ride back - only thing is is stops early but the tuk tuk's are super cheap. Lovely surroundings - you get to see the elephants from the sanctuary being bathed, there are lots of monkeys hanging around. Pool is lovely and staff are happy to bring over drinks to you. Great sun loungers but the shaded ones are often taken early and people leave keeping their stuff there to secure it. Hotel are great as they have a policy if no-one has been around for a while, the stuff will be packed up for others to use. Good selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner options. Restaurant area could do with a little more liveliness, but still loved it there. So much so we extended our stay and then returned there when we came back from Phi Phi Islands. Had a family room that was split into 2 so we all had our own space. Really clean.

AustraliaThe bed was very very firm. That might be considered a positive by some people!
I travelled here with my 8 year old daughter and we quickly fell in love with the place. It's quite magical, a peaceful and quiet spot. The pool was a particular highlight. At nights, unbelievably, we had it all to ourselves and had refreshing dips before bed. The pool bar served the most incredible pineapple drinks, the best of our whole stay in Thailand. We also loved the roaming cheeky monkeys! It's right next door to an elephant shelter and one morning we wandered over to feed the elephants, an easy walk. So if you're not feeling energetic you can still do something fun and very convenient. The air conditioning was excellent and well needed! The scenery was simply stunning. The hotel did a free shuttle to the beach, and that was appreciated.

United StatesThis was easily the best place we stayed in Thailand. The pool area and bar was relaxing and scenic. The breakfast was substantial and we quite enjoyed the food menu throughout the days (especially the mango sticky rice.) The shuttle into town was convenient and short, but we loved ending our trip with the quiet/remote spot Poonsiri provides. It was beyond relaxing and felt so luxurious, especially as a group of travelers in our 20s who are used to staying in hostels. Some reviews warn of the monkeys, and it's true they are definitely present. The staff does a good job of warding them off the community areas, but there was a time or two we definitely thought they were plotting, lol. Luckily they seemed to disappear at night, which is when we would've been creeped out. Overall, I would recommend anyone stay here. The staff is accommodating, the food is good, the pool bar is stocked and the location is breathtaking. The villas are also spacious.

GermanyVery nice hotel with bungalows located around the lagoon. Bungalows are a bit old, but they are clean. There are monkeys and sometimes you can hear them during the night, which didn't bother us. The swimming pool is nice, although the water was very hot. The personnel is very nice and helpful. The hotel is a bit far away from the city center to go by walking, so you always need a taxi to move around (only 10 min ride). The hotel offers a free shuttle at different times. Breakfast didn't have a wide range of options, although the quality was good, except for the free coffee. It was terrible. However, you can pay separately for a decent one. All in all we had a great time at this hotel.
