I liked everything

Personally I liked everything about this property . Location is good, it’s calm area. Staff was amazing, so much helpful and kind. This place is super clean , hence they provide you with water bottles , coffee and fruits that you can access for the whole day. I find it very cute to see two adorable cards that belong to the hotel .

Think of the pool more for a quick dip and cool off than lounging. Nicely done for the space they had to work but small and off the main floor.

Amazing value. Delicious homemade breakfast served every morning. Newer hotel, comfortable room, great location next to temples, street market, short tuk tuk ride to Nimman St. Friendly staff, room was made up daily, always available cappuccino machine and snacks were a nice touch.

According to the hotel rules, the pool should be closed at 8h00 pm. However, people were chatting around the pool until late. This would not be a problem with soundproof windows in the room, but since this is not the case, the pool should really be closed at night.

Very kind staff. Very appreciated the free water, fruits, coffee. The rooms are big, modern and comfortable.

The staffs are helpful and provide useful information such as restaurant, massage. I borrow a bicycle from the hotel for free to get around the old town. There is coffee all the time at lobby.

The food was a little cold but easily could be heated in the microwave.

It was super clean, I like how there was free drinking water available at all times. There are also bikes available for use which was great. Overall 9/10 experience. Staff was excellent and could understand English fairly well.

Por Arak is a little oasis tucked in old town Chiang Mai. The staff went above and beyond - they’re very accommodating and answered all our questions. 5 stars to the staff Breakfast is automatically included in your stay and the food was always delicious - mix of western and Thai breakfast dishes with lots of fruit. There was unlimited water and coffee/tea. Loved! Their focus on eco-friendly products and practices added to my love for Por.

We were really impressed with Por Arak - particularly the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the good food and drink that were available 24 hours a day. The breakfast was incredible. And the wonderful fruit (available throughout the day) - pineapple, watermelon, etc. The coffee machine was excellent as well. The four bottles of water in the fridge in the room were greatly appreciated. And we love the large TV screen. Por Arak is a fabulous place to stay. We cannot recommend it more.

The single bed is light and moves easily. Breakfast though good spread can be better if offers different menu on different days. We stayed 4 days and had the same breakfast daily. Perhaps more programmes on TV as we couldnt go out in the afternoon due to the intense heat.

The breakfast and coffee/tea, snack and cut fruits through whole day. We can come to the lobby to unwind ourselves and have a cup of coffee or tea or cut fruits at anytime of the day. Staff are extremely pleasant, warm and helpful. They greet us at all time and chat with us. Room is very clean and internet is strong. The breakfast has very good spread. They even allowed us to checked in early as there was an available room. Free bicycle to cycle around the city. Room rate is reasonable and location in old city which is quite convenient for us and near airport (5 km away).

Honestly it was all really lovely and I don’t have any notes for improvement.

Breakfast options are very good with a wide variety. They even offered me a take away box when I had to leave for the airport as breakfast opened which I really appreciated.

Clean, comfortable small hotel in a super central position . We had a room on the road and was difficult to sleep with open windows, we preferred the ones around the pool .The room is big , very functional, shower a dream ( so much water pression ) , bed really top. Staff is friendly, attentive . Breakfast was great and also the touches of some free food , water, milk available whole day long . Fair prices for the laundry
