How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Tea and hot water to drink is not 24/7, so if you have an early or late start, you will have to get tea outside. Room did not have a kettle.
Super clean, free water, tea/coffee and toast for breakfast, 20 minute walk from Kanchanaburi train station, lots of street food and grocery stores nearby. Staff super friendly and helpful. Also quiet and cool.

The location is in reasonable area though there's not much in the immediate vicinity. Once we worked out how to get to the busier area and get to places we wanted it was better. Unfortunately no assistance getting a taxi and it was stiflingly hot, so walking was out of the question day time and difficult in the evening
The hotel is nearly new and in a very nice condition. Clean too. There are tea making facilities in the lobby along with free toast and jam for breakfast. Decent size room and good working shower. Comfortable bed. Good a c.

Breakfast really nice to have available ready to eat and the staff were ever helpful and eager to assist when we had any quesitons about the surrounding area. They assisted with places to eat, sites to visit and facilitated motorbike rental which when new to aa place helps massively.

Everything was super clean, free water when ever you want a light breakfast free every morning. Staff were amazing. About 5/10 minute walk from the night market. Around 20 minute walk to the popular street with the bars and restaurants and The famous bridge.

Nothing, really enjoyed our stay would highly recommend.
Rooms were very homely and nicely decorated. Beds was very comfortable, the best bed and pillow we have had our entire trip. Great location close to the bus station, night market. The lady was very friendly and helpful. Nice small breakfast available.

Lovely, clean, spacious, air conditioning. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I recommend taking earplugs cause the road can be quite noisy.

Lovely clean modern hotel. Lovely furnishing. Staff were pleasant friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the complementary coffee and toast for breakfast Good location for getting to Bridge over the River Kwai, and a short taxi ride to the resort bars and restaurants Short walk to the river

No sink in the room - but I made do and knew that before I booked. Can’t complain for the price. Shower was only warm on the last night but Again was happy to make do as so hot outside.
Very convenient location 5-10 min walk from bus station, friendly staff, clean, new, breakfast included which makes a nice start to the day, good price, nicely decorated

Everything was perfect! The rooms are super tidy, the little breakfast in the morning is just what you need and the staff is very friendly ! The rooms are small but well furnished.

A fridge would have been nice...
New build hotel in immaculate condition. 15 minutes walk to war cemetary and museum. 10 minutes from Skywalk on the river/walking street. 3 mins to night market. Staff amazing. Bed very comfortable. Netflix and youtube on the tv.

A lightswitch next to the bed would have been welcome

They don't have curtains to keep the light away during early mornings, so you will wake up from that. Also the airconditioning kept making noises from time to time.
Very clean hotel. We stayed in room #207 and it was very cozy decorated. The host was very welcoming and always ready to help.

My en suite bathroom had a toilet and shower but no sink. A little bit away from the bars and restaurants

Wow! We loved everything. Welcoming and kind staff, clean room with all the ammenities (soap, shampoo, hair dryer, TV with YouTube, Netflix.. great A/C, hot water, WiFi...) walking distance to the bus terminal, less than 20 minutes walk to the train station, free water, free coffee or tea and snacks in the morning... just everything. Thank you!

We had a pleasant stay. The woman that welcomed us is very kind and the communication was good. The room was cosy and it had good hygiene. We missed a sink in the bathroom, but that was not a big deal for us.
