The 600 baht transfer is a rip-off, the breakfast is light, and the madame is grumpy and eager to see you off at 9:30am.

Amazing peace, just a few people in the village. Everybody friendly, except the "madame".

    - a bit remote and pier only accessible via boat - the prices in the village were a bit higher than standard for Thailand

    - Tuna is really friendly person - possible to book a shuttle which is necessary - beautiful beaches nearby - breakfast was included

There was no room service, and no means to clean the room by ourselves. The sink of the shower was placed in a weird way so that the water did not run down the drain by itself - which led to some inconveniences using the bathroom. The bathroom sink was not really fixed in place. Overall, it was a rugged experience - nonetheless comfy.

The staff was very friendly, and food at the restaurant associated with the hut was very good. The hut was small and cosy, with enough space to put out belongings. Air-conditioning worked fine, and the place had many cats. Lana and Nuibay are very close, and we could reach them by foot. The part of the island is less crowded than the main port, the village around it is touristy but charming.

Spider webs on the walls in the room.

Red tuna was 5 minutes from beautiful beach, not crowded. Very home- feeling. Tasty breakfast and kind people. They arrange for you transportation when you need to leave village. Room was old but for that price - worth it 😊

The cabin was a tad small but in the end you get what you pay for, so can't really complain.

The almost rural, laid-back location in Phi Phi village is a long-tail boat ride away from all the hustle and bustle of Tonsai Bay and its 'mainstream' shops, restaurants, and cafes. The proprietor is friendly and approachable and will go the extra mile for his guests. We arranged our next transfer to Krabi with him and on the day we left, he went with us all the way until we left on our speed boat to Krabi. It felt bittersweet saying goodbye to him. His level of service was exceptional. Great air-conditioning in cabins.

the bathroom was very outdated. It was clean, but nothing really worked. The shower had a very weak pressure, the sink was leaking to the floor, when water run. The toilet didn’t want to flush anything but water.

The location was great, it was a bit far from the noise of the restaurants so it was really good. The property had a porch for relaxing, breakfast was included. They organised the paid transportation from the port which was very convenient.

Reasonably expensive, it was the most expensive cabin we got in all the phi phi islands and the cabin could be made a lot nicer just with a few bits of decoration. A killed several huge spiders.

Nice outdoor area and snorkel masks available to borrow, thanks! Great Pad Thai!! They best one I had in Thailand

The eastern beaches and sea were quite polluted. Very disappointed with lack of recycling and environmental concern on whole of island. 20 baht environment few offer tourist should be far more to cover costs of clean up.

Beautiful local family looked after us so well. Nothing was too much and all questions answered and provided for. Loved the cooking lessons and information about local ingredients. The deluxe rooms over looking the mangroves and bridge were very private and large.

Some of the furnishings (curtains) were a bit aged and could have done with a wash.

We were allocated two bungalows next to each other as requested and a bonus was that they faced onto the estuary with verandas to sit on to watch the wildlife and comings and goings of rivercraft. We weren't too far away from the beach but nicely secluded and quiet. The room had everything we needed except that we could have done with some cushions for the outside furniture which was lovely, but made of wood and a bit uncomfortable without cushions. There were adequate towels etc provided. Nice to have a mosquito net too... Mr Tuna was so helpful and fun. His restaurant wasn't open every night but his food was excellent when it was - definitely the best Massaman I've ever tasted! (although the breakfast was a bit limited). For the other evenings we were able to find nice bars and restaurants very close by. Mr Tuna kindly did our transfers from Tonsai Pier in his longtail boat which was very easy to arrange.

The rooms are not in perfect condition. We had the room 7, which the bath pipe leaking when we gone to room and bathroom door not closing. We had to put a baggage behind of it every time to hold the door :) The people in the village especially in restaurants are not too many friendly. They are just bringing the menu on the table, turn around and go away. I think this is because that anyway there are some tourists around there independent which mood they show. In the village there is nothing to do, just eat and go to bed. But there are some markets to buy somthing daily which I find good.

Mr. Tuna is very friendly person and good character. The total points that I gave actually only for him. Otherwise I could review more less. For other staff I can not say the same. They look unhappy and completely different mood. The Rooms are close to some good beaches. You can walk and go there in 5-10 min.

This location allows to meet native Phi Phi: rainforest with monkeys and varanes, good diving spots such as Lana bay and Nui bay. Phi Phi Viewpoint is accessible by feet, around 90 min walk. Diverse shore types from different sides of the island at this place.

The price was (in our opinion) high for the quality of the accommodation. The first night we got a smaller room than what we had booked but we had to pay the price of the bigger room. Then we got a bigger room but without any of the facilities described (eg no TV, etc). The rooms are really basic.

We liked the owner, Tuna, who does his best to run the place. Due to Covid, these areas have been strongly hit by the lack of business and people are working very hard to recover. We also loved his open kitchen restaurant.
