Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomWe booked this hotel as in the area for 9 days seeing family and wanted a pool to relax by. We were unable to use the pool for 4 days as they were painting the roof. The smell of paint was awful and the pool water was dirty we complained twice. We also had to change rooms on arrival due to an infestation of cockroaches in the room. Second room was fine - no bugs / cockroaches in sight. Would stay here again.
This is definitely a “niche” hotel. Good location with lovely grounds and pool. The room was clean with comfortable beds and pillows, but dated. Reasonable selection of food for breakfast but not western style. We asked for fried eggs and an omelette and got them. The staff aren’t particularly forthcoming with information but if you need anything and ask they were more than happy to help - very friendly and polite. Would stay here again.

United KingdomVery little 'standard' breakfast (no cereals ect). Everything was traditional Thai (which, I guess, is understandable), except toast. But not even just Orange Juice. Small Aircon unit which takes forever to cool the room - and you have to take your key card with your room key (it's permanently attached) so you can't leave it to cool the room. The shower is in the bath...and, because of how they've designed it, it's impossible to shower without flooding the bathroom floor (which does have a drain, probably because of this). However it does make the floor tiles very slippery, especially getting in and out of the bathtub, so beware!
Comfy beds. Big room. Breakfast till late in the morning Not to far from a Big C supermarket (and it's attached restaurants) Very pretty and well maintained gardens and grounds.

ThailandThere is a door at the back of room which can lock only by doorknob. I am very worry for the safety while we sleep. And we get the connect room with my family, but I can hear the sound from connected room.
the staffs are helpful and try their best to serve our special request for delaying check-out. Moreover, she give the friendly answer for my question. In lobby, they have some necessary items to sell.

United KingdomMy only problem ... I enjoyed the pool very much, but I can't get out without help. My legs and arms are very weak. I need strong handrails, near the steps in the shallow end.
Breakfast was really good, thank you! The staff are really kind and friendly and always smiling ... lovely! You have a very nice café/restaurant ... good service and nice coffee and pizza.

ThailandI travel a lot, all over the world and I live more than most in hotels. From really luxurious to small budget and everything in between. But why you build a hotel always shines through. For example, a luxury hotel is built to be expensive and a budget hotel to be cheap and most in between are only meant to sleep in. It is very rare to see hotels that do not care that it should look expensive or cheap , or just a place to sleep. But this hotel P.Paradise Hotel in the small Kamphaeng Phet is built with soul, here it shines through that you have done it for every single thing because you like it, regardless of what any guests will think in the future which makes this hotel one of very few hotels in the world that I really enjoy so much so I have a hard time leaving it. Not only is it built with soul, the breakfast is delicious in real Thai style, which I like, so not that it is just Thai style but because you have cooked the food according to the country's traditions, most hotels have only the usual European style which is silly in a country with its own food culture. And not least, the staff are familiar and caring. I will stay here again if I visit this city with a interesting history which has undeservedly few tourists because it is a bit off the tourist's roads to sights. Anyone who goes to Kamphaeng Phet has planned to go here, it is not a place you stop at on the way to your real destination. You have to get here by bus or car. And for all those who plan to come to Kamphaeng Phet, it is highly recommended to stay at P.Paradise Hotel, in the middle of the city but still quiet, peaceful and absolutely wonderful.
