How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Everything was Ok. Normally room for normal price. For transit is best.10 min walk to Koosan road. Bus stop also near. Restaurant is wery good. Food is delicious.

Old. Only stairs. No proper receptionist.
Quite easy to locate. Near to popular places. Lane was brightly light up.

You should buy Toilet paper, Shampoo and bathroom stuffs with you . So it doesn't worth to this price . They close the doors after midnight
Location was good and quite . Close to pubs street and 20 minutes for walk to Metro Station . But there is always Bus around .

You have to prepare to walk through a lot of stairs to get to your room. We found some black hair on the bed.
The owners were really nice, we booked one more night. It was in really good location, close to the main stuff but in a calmer street.

The showers were cold, which was okay because it was humid and hot but we didn't have any hot water.
They waited for us because our flight landed at 1am and they were so kind to us. The beds were comfy and the WiFi and room amenities were good. We kept the air conditioning on a lot and it really helped. Really good location and we managed to get taxis everyday from outside the 7/11 which was less than 5 minutes away.

We were provided with towels and some tissues, but no shampoo, soap and things like that, so just be aware of this. And a couple of other minor things to note, not really complaints: the location is quite nice, near the city hall or the Golden Mount Temple, but it is about a 20minute walk from the nearest subway station (Sam Yot). There is also no elevator, so be ready for climbing some stairs.
Very very good value for money. The staff was polite and communicative, the room was nice and clean, ventilation working, beds comfortable. I also kind of liked the overall cosy feel of the accomodation. I felt like it didn't put up any appearances, it just is what it says it is - a decent, more than reasonably priced place to stay in central Bangkok.

Very old property, more so constructed keeping in mind the American standards. The sink of our toilet and the placing of washroom mirror did not serve the height standard of an average Asian.
Located at the heart of Bangkok yet very peaceful and away from all the party noises. Family run, located at a walking distance from many of the capital's attraction. Most importantly it has a short cut route that takes only 8mins walk to Khaosang. The owner is very helpful and there was no problem communicating with him in English (which otherwise is a problem in Thailand, as majority do not understand English). Also the restaurant there is very good

Air flow in the room was a bit lacking so it was quite hot for us.

It was good value and the beds were reasonably comfortable, but I waited 25 minutes to be served for breakfast, and nobody served me. The place is open for breakfast at 7am, I was waiting from 7.10 am to 7.35 am. There is no excuse for this.

I go to Pra Suri since 1995. Love this place. It’s safe and quiet even though it’s so near to Chaosan, the loudest place you can imagine.

The room was a bit run down, but clean
We stayed twice in this accommodation. Really good value for your money! The location is really nice, with lots of good food stalls and convenience stores nearby and you can easily walk to the famous temples. It was in a side ally, so the street noises didn’t bother us. It also felt really safe (both the location and also the guest house itself). The owner is straight forward, which I like

We were on the fourth floor which meant climbing a lot of stairs each time - not a major issue for us but wouldn't be suitable for everyone.
Location was really convenient, in a quiet area but 10 minute walk to Khao San. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were very pleasant and helpful with booking our onward travel. Good selection of food and drink available to order downstairs 😊
