Breakfast a bit costly for what you get but one can go anywhere around the hotel for excellent alternatives at a good price so not really a problem except thar it is sometimes convenient to enjoy breakfast at your hotel

The bed was SO comfy! Huge room and very clean, good aircon. The staff and tour organisers were lovely. The location is right on the beach and it was beautiful there. I can’t comment on the restaurant as I didn’t eat there and I didn’t go in the pool!

We wouldn’t say it is a 5-star hotel. It is not exactly beachfront, but it is close to the beach. On our first day there were no free tables to sit for a breakfast, we had to wait a bit. We had a medical emergency at midnight and it was hard to convince the sleepy receptionist to give us some ice. In case you have to walk to the reception or through the dark (no lightening) swimming area be aware that a dog might meet you on the half way, luckily it was not aggressive, it started walking after me, it was quite frustrating because I didn’t know what are his intentions. Regarding cleaning services, the ladies were very kind, but seemed like they were waiting for us to go back to our room and approach the room and only change the towels, so they can miss cleaning up the rest of the area. Happened around three times during our 5-days stay in the late afternoon.

The bed was very comfortable, we slept like babies. The location and breakfast were okay. We had a request for a room on a higher floor and they satisfied it.

Our bedroom was behind a restaurant kitchen, so there was some noise during the night. It is not really in front of the beach, you need to walk a bit, but it is still very close.

The swimming pool is very good and the staff was very nice.

Pool access room We did have pool access but it was a children's pool . Algae in the corners Tiles missing. We did arrive early due to flight being early . So we had to wait several hours before entering room . Had to ask for water So bad mark for that as it was a really hot day . And after a long flight you would expect more did ask for early check in but was told it was impossible. I think the five star is a bit of exaggeration more like three star hotel . A lot of things not working Locks on childproof gates to pool . Light not working on terrace . Looks dated on the decor .

Is not a beach front how is advertising, swimming pools are closing at 7:00pm but it advised closing time at 10:00pm . Is very misleading with all the information they give you

There wasn't too much I didn't like at the resort. I would've liked a more spacious room, but it was traveling solo so it was clean and worked out just fine. It's a little on more expensive that some of the hotels, but you get what you pay for and the location on the beach makes up for it.

The breakfast buffets were very good with various options. Offered your typical American breakfast along with fruits, and traditional Thai food. The staff was super friendly and keep your coffee/water filled!

While our overall experience in Phuket was enjoyable, the Princess Kamala hotel did not meet the advertised 5-star resort standards. The rooms and facilities were outdated and in need of renovation. We encountered issues such as a water leak from the wall, a foul-smelling bathroom, and a noisy air conditioning compressor that sounded like a diesel engine. The hotel also had a mosquito problem, requiring guests to come prepared with repellent. Additionally, there was no hot water in the shower. On the positive side, we visited during the Songkran New Year holiday, and the street was lively with water fights and music. The staff was friendly, and our kids enjoyed the pool. While the hotel offered good value for money and was family-friendly, I'm unsure if I would return. This very nice hotel is located near the Kamala beach, only 2 minutes away on foot. The room was large and clean overlooking the great pool area. The breakfast was excellent with a variety of dishes and fresh fruits. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The villas are a bit outdated and I expected a higher standard after looking at the advertised photos. However it had all the amenities we needed and in the end our stay was great. Great value for money. The cleaning ladies did a great job and cleaned the villa every day.

The breakfast selection was very good, lots of fresh fruits, pastries, dishes, omelettes… the staff was very friendly and always smiling. The location was perfect, although the nearby canal on the way to the beach had a bad smell. The proximity of restaurants, beach boulevard, 7eleven and the sea made our stay very pleasant. The pool was absolutely amazing, quite deep (1,5 m) in some places and lots of stairs to chill out on. I didn’t see any floating leaves in the pool, it was very clean and the water was warm. The second (smaller) pool had a colder water if anyone wanted to cool down.
