I had to clean my room after the check-in. Floor and walls in the bathroom were pretty disgusting but with hot water from the kettle and soap you can make a miracles. The two wardrobes were full of dust and cobwebs. So if you don´t mind to spend 20 mins of cleaning at the beginning of your stay, you will be all good as I was. The gym is full of machines, most of which are broken, but you can still find some that work, and there's nothing wrong with the dumbbells.

Spacious room, fridge and kettle in the room, free coffee and water daily, you can have new clean towel daily. Staff is really friendly with poor english but my Thai is much worst.. Pool and pool area is nice to chill. Nice to have a gym in the residence - better easy gym than no gym. The location is really good, you can´t really hear noise from the street and I´m a light sleeper. Close to the beach (7min walk), close to the local food (go to the Boat and Teaw, the best local food for great price), the Supercheap grocery store just next to the Residence.

Bit of an odd smell in the room, a bit like sewers.

Staff were friendly, and it was good value for money. Good for a quick stop over. Didn’t check out the pool or gym as we were there for such a short amount of time, but great that they have those facilities offered for the price.

The pool is showing its age. There are quite a few tiles missing around the shallow end of the pool, causing scrapes and cuts if you're not careful.

Staff is fantastic, the hotel is clean, large swimming pool and sun deck and parking for vehicles and motorbikes. Not too noisy, as far as traffic goes, and there is a 24 hr convenience store next door.

We had 5 days when the pool was not fit to enter there was a problem with the pump They kept putting a white powder in which people got a reaction to. The water eventually went a very dark green colour you could not see the bottom they should have closed it until they sorted it out. I went to the beach instead.

The rooms are large, clean, and the staff are very helpful. The pool is one of the biggest on the island. I have stayed here 5 times usually for 2 months.

Nice pool area, room still being cleaned when we arrived but didn’t take long and was ready! Good AC, water and towels changed daily! Rented a bike from the hotel. Small gym but enough to get a workout in!

The room wasn’t smelling good, it smells like mould. No option for breakfast but it has a 24hr beside it and a 7-11 few walking minutes. The staff wasn’t very nice and didn’t speak English very well.

The location was good, close to the beach, just few minutes walking. And the facilities was good, they have gym, swimming pool, beach beds.

Although the bed was made and fresh towels were put in our room, the bathroom was not cleaned properly and sometimes the water would back up in the shower. Apart from these slightly small issues, we would definitely stay at PTK Residence again.

PTK Residence is good value for money. It is situated just before the main tourist part, so was still quiet, about 10-15 mins walk to all the main restaurants and Chaweng Beach.The room could do with fresh paint, but the room itself was quite big and it was nice to have a balcony with a good view.

Ants were a bit of a problem but they are everywhere so probably not the hotel’s fault. Couldn’t leave any open food out at all.

Nice pool and we never had a problem getting a sun bed. Big rooms and good shower. Comfortable beds. About a 30 minute walk from the centre but worth staying further out for cheaper hotels and restaurants. Only 10 mins walk to beach

Would be nice if there was a restaurant and or bar in the hotel. It would be useful to be able to book tours at reception.

The room was a really good size. The pool was lovely and a good size. Decent gym. The hotel was very clean, room cleaned daily if you wanted it. Close to city center and beach, 24 hour super market next door to hotel.

Motorbike hire was full.

I was apprehensive about staying in such a low priced hotel in Chaweng. However I was extremely surprised at the value for money of this hotel. I have stayed in hotels with far bigger price tags that didn’t have the overall room size, quietness, and fantastic facilities. It’s isn’t the Ritz, but this might be the best value for money hotel I’ve stayed in in some time. Would recommend for a solo traveler or couple on a budget.

Ants in the bathroom, also came to the room when some sweets were left open. Itchy feeings on the skin after sleeping two nights.

Location OK - not far from the beach, muay thai stadium or eateries, with 24/7 big store next to it. Room spacious, clean, very quiet, wi-fi works 100%.
