The views from the villa and the private pool were absolutely stunning. We didn’t want to leave 😍. The staff were wonderful, friendly and very helpful. The restaurant had lovely food and mopeds were available for hire for 24hrs at a very good price. The bar on the beach connected to the hotel was a superb place to watch the sunset. I would highly recommend this resort. 10 out of 10. 🙏😊🤩

This is a beautiful and quiet boutique resort. Amazing views from our Villa (Villa 8) and different viewpoints in the resort. The staff are extremely kind and helpful. Our overall experience was beyond our expectations. This is the place to relax and breath in the calm of Koh Yao Noi.

Only small issues was the safe in our room didn't work, even after being reset and getting instructions from the technician, we could not override with our own code and the alarm would go off when we tried to set it up. An in room instruction card on the safe would be helpful. Our breakfast orders got mixed up twice from the paper and electronic submissions and we ended up with too much food!! Better than going hungry but recommend confirming the order at the table to avoid that happening.

The staff was amazing and were so sweet and accommodating. The property is beautiful, nice clean rooms, and the pool area is beautiful with an amazing view and was so peaceful and quiet. We also saw the monkeys and so many butterflies while sitting outside our villa. Recommend watching the sunset at the beach. The food at the restaurant was also excellent, we ate there all 3 nights.

Beautiful location on the beach. Everything about the property was done to perfection. The dining room has a butterfly garden in front with a fantastic view of the sea. Quiet with cool ocean breezes. The staff was always very attentive- particularly the managing director Ms Kwanjai Rukthai

The staff were super helpful and friendly, from arranging our transfer from the pier to the resort on our first day all the way through to providing a packed breakfast for us when we took an early boat off the island at the end of our stay. The pool was great for swimming and the beach a couple of minutes walk away was a fab spot to watch sunset. We loved our stay here and would recommend

This is really a honeymoon suite. Not so good for mother daughter event. Location was challenging as we wanted to be where there was activity - however, the moped helped to get around. If this was a romantic situation - this would be perfect - just not right for what we were looking for. Wifi in the village 2 did not work so again - made it really remote.

Views were amazing and facilities were clean. The people were so friendly and accommodating. Very quiet. Landscaping was beautiful and grounds were well kept.

The hotel is a bit out of town but you can rent scooters to explore the island !

We would like warmer water in our villa’s pool. 2 degrees would make it great for even night swimming. We would like to see the walls of the rooftop villa swimming pool cleaned as there are few rusty stains.

The swimming pool with a view was fantastic in our villa (rooftop villa no.2). If you are looking for a beach then this is not the spot but if you are looking for a secluded place with amazing view from your own villa and swimming pool then this is the to go to place. The pool can be lit at night. The staff is great and very attentive. Food is good and tasty. We tried other restaurants but Purana was the best here on the island. They also offer bike rentals (350Bht. for a bike and 600 for sidecar bike) so you can easily roam around the island. They offer trips to surrounding islands, fully covered with food and transportation. We got our very own longtail boat, just 2 of us, our boat and captain (with water, fresh fruits and a lunch on the beach) for 3500 Bht.

Even though we were on vacation I would have liked more stable internet. This is really a minor issue overall as we are on an island that is relatively remote.

This is a wonderful location. We enjoyed the quiet west side of the island and really loved the view from Villa 2. The breakfast was nice with a wide selection form the lunch/dinner menu hit the spot. Anything we needed the staff could arrange, from scooters, boats, diving, restaurants and more.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. We were very happy with everything.

The staff were amazing. They all went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The room we had was just beautiful. Attention to detail is second to none here, from the decor to the gorgeous gardens. Meals cooked with a personal touch and the food was outstanding. The property is quite isolated but for those wanting peace and tranquility as we did, it was perfect.

The service was amazing! The hotel staff was very friendly and caring, they gave us good recomendations on day excursions by long-tail boat. The room was very nice, the hotel restaurant very good, overall this was a great value for money and we had a great time staying here. We really recommend!

I can't think of a single thing that we didn't like. This hotel is sensational. Visitors looking to be within walking distance of the main tourist beach strip on Koh Yao Noi (i.e. Pasai Beach) will find Purana to be on the more remote side of the island. You need a bike, scooter or taxi to go to the more central parts of the island. We preferred this setup, but some people might not.

Our stay at Purana was utterly sublime!!! We would go back there in a heartbeat! The highlights were: Friendly, attentive, caring staff who made us feel at home Fresh and delicious food at the hotel restaurant - we enjoyed every single breakfast and dinner they served Incredible villa with an infinity pool and a breathtaking view of the islands Comfortable bed, the whole space was well decorated and equipped Chattering birds and monkeys in the tropical forest, a very nice sound to wake and fall asleep to. The property is so well maintained Bikes and scooters for rent to go to the nearby villages and beaches on the island
