Thai tea is not stable and the washroom is not very clean. The bath water is purified seawater I think and it's not very comfortable but we understand that.

The seaview, the beach and the staff are very great. It's the best seaview I've seen. Also, the food and drink are also nice and value for money.

It was a great stay in a beautiful place. Such a great warming welcome by the family who run the resort. Beautiful beach, nice restaurant and very good fruit shake waiting for you...and everything bring to you by a wonderful staff! I miss that place already...

Smell of rotten eggs with shower running. Subpar food at restaurant/bar. Messy/dirty.

Beachfront bungalow with a comfortable double hammock was a dream. View of one of the nicest beach ahhh Clean & comfortable, nice mattress and linens. Only down part was smell of rotten eggs with shower running but we could look past that. Restaurant and bar was subpar from even an average restaurant. Dirty and messy with busy family running it, but a great location. However, Very lovely and helpful and kind.

Restaurant frequently ran out of certain foods, but this is to be expected on a small island and as day trippers and guests at other nearby resorts eat and drink there.

Located on one of the best beaches on the island. Sea is always deep enough for swimming. Sea often has waves, but they are gentle and fun. Room is a good size with a decent shower. Cleaned and fresh linen provided every 2 days. Location is blissfully quiet at night. Staff are lovely. Moped hired at resort - 250 to 300b per day - you will need one to explore the island. Good restaurant on site, and only 10min walk to the shop and Thai restaurant at Walk in Homestay (amazing food and best chicken & cashew I have ever had).

Bathroom could use some fixes, (clean) water was leaking a bit at both the toilet and sink. No big thing but should be easy to fix

Magical location. Room was good, shower was really nice. Nice food. People running it are awesome. Price quality wise really a gem on the island. Would wanted that we booked more nights :)

The faucet was leaking in the bathroom and for some the mattress might be too hard.

The location on the beach is perfect, make sure to book an ocean front bungalow, definitely worth it. The staff is super friendly and the food and drinks are great as well. Very good value! Awesome beach.

Beach bungalows 20 meters from the beach. Super friendly staff. Very nice and very beautiful little beach. Total 600 m long at low tide. Very quiet. No boats. Only two places to stay at this beach.

Everything! We’ve stayed almost half a month here because it is so amazing!!! It is said to be the most beautiful beach on the island. Besides they have a restaurant with delicious food for half a price as the rest and it is a family business. It feels like being in paradise :)

This place is truly a gem. Big, nice and clean bungalow located right on the beach. Cozy and peaceful surroundings. Beach was clean and good for swimming and snorkeling. Beach chairs available so you don’t have to lay directly on the sand. There were kayaks and paddle boards available for free, we didn’t get to try it though. Incredible staff, always smiling, very helpful and understood English better than most other hosts. Good Thai food at fair prices, made us want eat at their restaurant at every meal, every day of our stay! We were sad to leave this place, really felt like paradise. We stayed at two other places on Koh Kooh but Rimly is the one place we want to return to.

Bed was a bit hard, I slept like a baby but my girlfriend didn't enjoy it so much. My only complaint!

Beautiful location, right on the beach. Not much else around but you don't need anything else, the on site restaurant is delicious, reasonably priced and has a wide selection of options. Ate breakfast, lunch and dinner there for the 2 days we stayed (pancakes, omelette, smoothies, coffees, green curry & pad thai all very good). The beach is lovely and sandy underfoot for a swim. The staff were the friendliest bunch of people I've come across so far in Thailand. Fresh drinking water provided each day, hammock outside the front door door relaxing. They also have people there doing massages and they do laundry if you need it. We also stayed near white beach area in Kod Kood, but this is much nicer!

We got annoyed by some people who felt the need to reserve multiple sunbeds/chairs all day and not use them - very selfish. The service in the restaurant wasn’t always perfect, but was friendly and polite ☺️

Rim Lay suited us perfectly. Not a luxurious site but that wasn’t what we expected (or wanted). As a family run business there was enough attention to detail without being too much. The situation was just beautiful and calming. The food was reasonably priced and good quality. The beach was just beautiful and the massages on site a bonus. We hired (very cheap) a moped from the site for a day, which was plenty to see the whole island and only confirmed that we were at the best place on the island. We could see why everyone wants to return.

This place is what you dream of when you are stuck in your boring job in the middle of winter. It is a true slice of paradise, white sand beaches, crystal clear water and a team of friendly and attentive staff. Could not recommend more highly.
