Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

The Rose Garden is a lovely place to stay. The staff are fantastic, the food is delicious and the location is brilliant. A truly comfortable accommodation with delicious coffee and the warmest staff ever. I miss being there already and I cannot wait until the next time I am to check in. A remarkable experience!

Really can't express how excellent this place was. Spent 13 incredibly days here. The staff make the business feel like you're at home. Real genuine warmth. Right, for the price point this place is phenomenal. Great sized room with balcony and double bed, spacious and comfortable. Excellent restaurant. Staff so helpful. Some supreme touches to the room, exclusive of all the usual expected amenities, that added to the overall stay. TV and A/c and fridge were good, but a huge quality fan added. Artwork on the walls that had been clear hand selected. High quality storage and wardrobe. Floral displays. An excellent work desk with a super smart gamers/desk chair, befitting of a room price of much great value. We had a balcony with a table and one chair and on our second day without any mention or prompting the owners arrived with 2 new high quality balcony chairs. This place should be commended!! Let your patronage help this guesthouse thrive. They care about the comfort of their guests and the price is insane value for money. Loved this place. Would love to come back here but expect it to be difficult to get a reservation is they keep this exception standard. I stay in a lot of places and this was right up there for the price point. In Soi 88, with motorbike hire, several 7/11s, restaurants and bars on the street and the fabulous chang Market only few streets away. And the new bar soi with 40plus bars in Soi 94 not far at all. Booked this place original using booking.com a little tentative as to what to expect due to only a handful of reviews at the time and wondered what it would really be like. It blow me away! Brilliant stay.

The internet is fast so, you can work online easily directly from your room. There is a restaurant on the ground floor, they serve very nice meals and drinks. The staff is very nice and friendly. BelgiumDon't expect to get an experience like you get at the Hilton, the Marriot, the Hyatt, the Sheraton or the Intercontinental when you stay at the Rose Garden. I can't say anything wrong about the Hilton ..., they are all excellent. But you'll get much better at the Rose Garden.

United KingdomI had no issues that concerned me. Plenty going on in the immediate area. So no need to walk in to HH every evening.
Plenty of different options for breakfast and all meals. I chose the healthier options of Youghut, fresh fruit & musile.

AustraliaRose Garden guest house is situated at the top end of Soi 88. There is a 711, some cafes and a couple of small bars near by. You need to walk about 15 mins to the huge night food market & local bars and 25 mins to the Market Village shopping centre or take a Grab taxi. A Grab taxi costs only 70 baht to the popular live music venues in Soi 94. Our room with a balcony on level 1 was huge and comfortably furnished. Poi the owner and her staff are lovely and their food is excellent. The rooms are not cleaned daily, but they will clean your room on request.

Everything, couldn’t find fault. The finish throughout is top notch. Bed was very comfortable for me, slept like a log. Bathroom was superb. Front of house restaurant area very nice place to sit. The hosts were amazing, very kind, very helpful, always smiling. Even shared some of their food with me over a chat, the Boo Maa 🦀🐴 😁was delightful. The soi is full of everything you need, it’s their to entertain you, Make sure to check out the evening food market down the side road of 7-11, lots of tasty foods to be bought there, 20B in a bag thai style. Stay here, hire a moped and hua hin is literally your oyster

AustriaThe noise from the road
Puy and Dean were excellent hosts, always so helpful and open for a chitchat. The rooms were spacious, clean and I seriously slept like a baby during my stay. The only thing is just, if you're sensitive to noise, ask for the room which faces the backyard instead of the main road. Around the guesthouse are various food stalls (some only open late afternoom) and small restaurants. Had the best Tom Yum Noodle Soup from a stall close to the guesthouse! If you love thai massage as much as I do, make sure to also check out the massage place just next to the guesthouse. (Had the best massage there during my entire trip in Thailand!) The beach and local market (recommend!) are easy reachable by walking as well as a popular viewing point. Really enjoyed my stay at the guesthouse and in Hua Hin!

GermanyWe had an amazing stay at Rose Garden Guesthouse, it felt like a home away from home :) The room is spacious and exceptionally clean, the bed is comfy and there is even a desk to work on. The owner and his wife are super friendly and welcoming. Convenient location with many shops and good food options nearby, and the guesthouse also has it's own restaurant where they sometimes host live music events. United KingdomBasic, but great value for money, clean and comfortable. Downstairs they have a restaurant/bar so sometimes went downstairs for a coffee, or beer but close enough, 5-10minutes walk to many other amenities for food and drinks. Decent location for walking Khao Hin Lek Fai. Supermarkets, and also local produce small markets within close proximity. Comfiest bed I've ever slept on if I am honest. My only regret as I didn't want to get up! Next time I am in Hua Hin I will be looking to book up again. Actually see the owners and friendly staff most days so has a family feel to it. I felt a valued guest as opposed to 'another customer'
