VERY comfy beds, beautiful rustic-style rooms, lovely staff, and a great location - Chiang Moi subdistrict is such a vibe and you have all the markets of China Town at your doorstep. It was as comfortable as home and I’ll definitely be back - highly recommend 🙏🏼

The staff was extra helpful. Upon arrival I left my mobile phone in the taxi that drove away…Ben at the welcome desk, reassured me it would be found. She made a couple calls then booked me another taxi with instructions that resulted in me getting my phone back within 90 min of losing it. What a relief. Felt safe at the Rustic Guesthouse and the location was great for the night market yet quiet.

Unfortunately my room had no window so only AC/fan which is quite uncomfortable when you need 'fresh air'. Also no lift for luggage. Bathroom very small for the room. It is situated by China Town....but for me it was in an odd location which was quite dark and empty in the evenings when markets are closed.

Not really bad but something i dont like is I got room Level 3 but actually 4th floor if the office is included because no lift so make sure that you like to walk up.

Room is clean an nice bed, you would have facilities you need in hotel, even when you put no disturb on the door , hotel will provide 2 bottle of water and tissue papers hang on your door. Dont need to ask. At my room side is very quiet and peaceful i dont hear any noises from street. Near Waroros , Ton Lamyai market at night between both market also have night market for local thai snacks, appetizers, fruits , drink and etc. Perfect temperature at night to walk over the bridge and chilling out at bar and restaurants along riverside. Love the lights from bar and restaurants reflexe on the Ping River. Staffs are friendly and helpful! Extra tip; If you love fruits and flowers , you will found along the side of market , they are plenty and brilliant but less price. Thai young ladI es or couples like to buy flower and make photo on the bridge with Ping River background, may be would be something for you.

The hotel has no elevator and we were on the 5th floor, so climbing up and down (narrow) stairs should be considered. Also, the area has many cockroaches and we actually encountered one in the bathroom the first of the two nights we stayed there. Last, the plugs in the room couldn't quite hold our chargers steady and we had to come up with a trick to make them work.

Great vibe and location! Very friendly and funny hosts. Cute and clean room, even though we booked one of the smallest ones.

It's a very quiet neighborhood just few steps from the famous Warorot market with tasty food options from morning till night.. Guesthouse is very atmospheric

For single solo traveler it is not the best location to stay. The room is nice but the furnitures are old. I saw lots of little bugs in the bathroom counter.

Nothing. However there are a few things one should consider before booking to stay here: no parking lot, no lift (just 4 storey building).

The location, the cleanliness and the homey ambience of the room. The main market and lots of restaurants nearby. A common space that serves as a pantry corner is wonderful.

We where pleasantly surprised! Verg clean and comfortable room. More like a hotel than guest house. There was towel service, daily cleaning and water service and AC working like a charm. Everything in walking distance and very chill vibe and for that low price! We booked an extra night while for after we were back from an elephant sanctuary and they kept our luggage safe.

We were greeted by mosquitoes in the room. Were allocated room on 4th floor despite request for lower floor due to knee injury and could not climb up too many steps. However staff was able to reallocate a room on the second floor.

Locking the room with a padlock didn’t feel super secure

Amazing value near the shuttle bus stop - not in the old town but the perfect location for what I needed. Very helpful staff. Small, simple room perfect for my one night stay. Clean and cosy. No breakfast but I didn’t mind because it was such good value and many nice places nearby. Would definitely stay again. Night market and flower market nearby.

I really enjoyed my short stay at the Rustic Guest House as I got the biggest room but located at the 4/5th floor of the building ! An extra large super comfortable bed, a clear and nice view on the city, many furnitures and a pleasant bathroom with real hot running water. The reception female staff are great and helpful for any informations. A good situation, close to the Canal and the Chinese area.

I wasn’t feeling safe , the room was full of mosquitoes and I was bites all night long also using repellent, I couldn’t sleep neither call someone to change room because no one was there. The air conditioner was noisy, the safe wasn’t working… I woke up full of blood on the bed sheets and bites in my skin, tired and stressed because I couldn’t sleep. Check the room before to do the check in.

I was choosing because close to the bus station I needed and hopefully a safe place … The kindness of the girl at the Check-in was nice.
