Nothing! Just a word to the wise that there’s not *really* a beach at the property but the sandy seafront has plenty of loungers and is gorgeous.

The location, villa, team and entire Island was an absolutely beautiful experience! Montha was an utterly fantastic host, attentive and warm. The restaurant on the beach was if we’d died and gone to heaven - delectable food, scenic views and the lovely sounds of the local wildlife! If we were to return to the area, we would without a doubt be returning to Sangsuree.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like.

The breakfast was good. There was an option for American style food, and then there was fresh fruit and bread/pastries, and fresh cooked Thai food. And the coffee was good too.

The best thing is the view!!! Rooms are beautiful. Sunrise is stunning. The staff are wonderful, so helpful and flexible. Food is great and a good price. I can't rate this hidden gem 💎 highly enough. Only 20 mins from Phuket, yet such a stunning change of scenery. Beautiful, quiet surrounded by islands and beaches. I will be back for sure!

The climb from villa to beach restaurant became our daily excercise! The resort restaurant, which is on the beach below the villas, was popular with guests and outsiders alike, but staff were overwhelmed at busy times. Also, no table numbers led to occasional confusion. For the villa interior some small additions were suggested to the manager to improve.

We liked the room with jacuzzi pool. Great views. Breakfast OK with a mix of buffet and chef choices. Assistance with personal transport and local tours very helpful. The island hopping suggested by staff was great. Transport connections from Phuket airport to the resort were fine with a good ferry set up.

Beautiful sunrise and amazing views over the small islands, Hong Island, Krabi and Phang Nga Bay/Andaman Sea. Very well looked after. 2 good restaurants, 1 right by the sea (where the inclusive breakfast is served), and Gala Restaurant can also deliver if you order from the restaurant or use whatsapp. There are plenty of local restaurants and a supermarket a few minutes walk away. There is a 7-Eleven a few minutes drive/short taxi away. You can also hire a car or moped from the hotel. Kayaking to Laem Haad beach is a must. I saw Hawksbill turtles and plenty of fish. I even saw two couples get engaged on the beach. As well as private pool with a sea view and Jacuzzi Jets, there's also a main pool by the sea. An absolute must is Railay Beach day trip. Ask at reception. Phi Phi is another must. I stayed there for a week the last time I visited Thailand. I stayed a few nights in Bangkok before flying to Krabi. From Krabi airport, they will greet you at the small arrival hall and take you in a taxi to a pier near Ao Nang, the shared speedboat and another short taxi will be waiting for you and take you to the hotel in Koh Yao Yai. I took a similar transfer but to Phuket on departure and it took just under 90 minutes to get from the hotel to the airport. There is reliable wifi in the hotel but another thing I recommend is to buy an AIS travel SIM or eSIM and you can connect to 4g/5g. It's fairly cheap to buy and well worth having while travelling around the island and the rest of Thailand. For the money, you will not find anywhere better.

We had a beautiful stay here, we wish we stayed longer. The staff, resort, room, food and Island was all amazing. We will definitely be recommending to our friends and family and hopefully coming back ourselves one day!

Everything was perfect very welcoming and beautiful villa ..Montha the villa hist was so lovely nothing was a problem very friendly and helpful .. Montha even helped my daughter surprise me for Mother’s Day by getting me a card and flowers and chocolate cake !! .. wrote a message in the card that my daughter had sent … and the restaurant was fabulous too … 🙏❤️

What an amazing paradise! Fairly remote, the staff can't do enough for you and offer you a concierge service via WhatsApp for any questions. The views from the rooms are insane, and the restaurant has good food as well as being reasonably priced. Couldn't recommend more!

Everything about the location is 5* but the breakfast can be a little hit and miss. Generally a good offering of fresh fruit and certain item cooked to order.

The location offers high quality villas with beautiful views. The pool area is lovely, looking out onto the ocean and the restaurant for dinner is exceptional. Khwan is the manager of the property and she was incredibly helpful and made sure we had everything needed and was available on the phone anytime if we needed help.
