Not much, negotiating with taxis rather than having a set price gets me down. No air conditioning in the bathroom made it very hot but I’m being picky!

Fantastic hotel, clean, comfy, happy staff, great food, lovely beach and surroundings. Try the Trio Bar just outside the hotel too.

Excellent stay with my family. We had 3 rooms next to each other and they were so beautiful. Bathrooms are exceptional with so many ,lovely details. The beds were comfy and the rooms were tastefully decorated. The balconies were gorgeous with lovely trees giving lots of shade. we stayed a row back from the beach but this was actually way more private. We will be back. Breakfast was a buffet style and really varied and healthy. The Reef bar was great and had such a good menu with thai/ western options at a good price point.

I rented an Ocean View Villa and it was fabulous, I travel a a lot and usually don’t write reviews but this place is amazing and has everything you want and need…I will absolutely recommend this to anyone

Restaurant a bit slow, missed drinks from our order couple of times, but food overall were very good.

Very nice atmosphere, interior. We like room decor and cosy restaurant. Fire show almost every night at the beach . Available Kayak, Paddle activities. Quite, nice beach.

The best beach of the whole island. No big rocks taking up the space, just sand and ocean! Nice staff, good breakfast buffet. And the rooms are unbelievable!

Beautiful hotel in an amazing beach location but the staff were what really made the experience for us. They were really friendly and helpful throughout our stay, starting with our waiter Sun on the first night who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience.

Not enough beach chairs at the beach. Guests from the sister hotel are using the beach chairs as well. This makes the stay a bit uncomfortable. Tables at the beach are not regularly cleared from used glasses and plates.

Very nice rooms with an excellent design. Beach is small but very pleasant.

- limited selection of Thai dishes and the offered Thai dishes were not authentic / too tailored to the Western palette - opening hours of the restaurant and bar should be longer; especially the bar should not close at 9:30 - the restaurant manager was not friendly / bordering on rude during one of our encounters - seeing as mangos are so popular in Thailand, it would have been greatly appreciated to have fresh cut mangos at the breakfast buffet in addition to the other fruits

- situated along a lovely white and clean beach - spacious open air restaurant and bar with a good selection of food and drinks - comfortable deck chairs within 10m of the ocean - solid selection of activities (kayak and SUP) - offers to book tours (island hopping, etc.) - in general, the staff is very friendly and helpful although they do not speak much English - nice breakfast buffet with a large amount of savoury Thai dishes, an omelette station, fruits, pastries, yoghurts and fresh juices

Nothing to be honest - we truly loved the place!

The hotel was absolutely perfect for us. The rooms were beautiful and in a premium location. Beds were comfy and the area is quite calm, so we could sleep perfectly at night. Breakfast had quite a lot of options and cocktails at the bar were spectacular. We will come back for sure next time we are at Koh Samet!

There are quite a few mosquito s of an evening, the hotel team do all possible to minimise the problem.

Simply I did not want to leave, it was my perfect break. The hotel was excellent, the staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel even supplied beach towels, bottles of water for the beach a bag to carry all in and the loungers on the beach are reserved for the hotel guests. Though I noted the hotel staff were continually asking non residents to move. For me a perfect hotel in a wonderful location.

The ocean view villa was amazing. The interior atmosphere of the villa was so cozy with the local materials. The staff was really friendly, kind and smiley. The reception service was helpful and excellent english speaking. The territory of the the resort was stunning with the greens, flowers. Everything was clean and well organised. The beach, other bars, market and juices/smooth maker point were just few minutes walk from the resort. The beach was wonderful with the sunsets. It wasn't crowded. The menu of Reef Bar&Restaurant was delicious with colorful tastes. The cocktails were really creative and unique:)
