The food and drinks are way too expensive for Thailand prices. No hot water in shower.

Although the staff try to keep up, there is garbage around the beach. Not their fault as a few strong wind storms have hit the area and brought garbage up onto the beach.

Prices in hotel restauration are way overpriced, like four times higher than outside, for just basic food like pad thai. There are sunbeds on the beach, but matrasses are too used, after rain they are wet the whole day, stuff don’t take care about it…

Resort is situated on a really beautiful jungle beach. Bungalows ste small but cozy, everything you need is there. Massage on the beach was great for good price.

there was some restaurant renovation running that kind of affected the experience overall and it was the most expensive we have had in our trip in Thailand overall.

pillows were very hard and rooms need to be sprayed for bugs, ours was crawling with spiders etc and our toilet seat wasn’t straight, it was crooked (made crooked)

The resort it self is a little run down and showing its age ,the beach makes up for it.

great size two bedroom villa with nice covered terrace in front. in a beautiful setting of a lush green and tropical garden with little waters around the villas. direct access to the beach.

The TV Box didn’t work & was never sorted after several requests. This resort is perfect if you want quiet chilled evenings, as there isn’t much going on in the Beach bar or resort on a night. if you want something a bit more lively on a night you would have to go into Lamai.

The Rooms are spacious & are cleaned every day. The rooms have everything you need with good AC & WiFi. The Beach this property is on is stunning, a real slice of paradise.

Well you can't have it all. You either on the beach or a little away from the main action. So we were a little away from the market etc but plenty of taxis were available, so no problem with that.

Loved the fact that the hotel was on a private beach. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. We booked for 2 nights and ended up staying 3!

The common areas, paths, pool etc were a bit run down and could do with a deep clean and maintenance.

The gardens could be better maintained.

Everything about this place was great. It rooms where large as well as the bathroom. We stayed in the Beachfront Villas - the view are amazing. The pool area, restaurant, massage area all overlooked this beautiful bay. The staff were all lovely. Crystal Bay is only a small bay so not too many people. Just loved this place. Can hire kayaks, paddleboards, snorkling gear. Can book tours and scooter/car hire from reception. There is a 7eleven and laundry place 4 minutes walk away.

It's quite far out from any attractions

The staff were always really friendly and we were able to check in earlier. They gave us free water and plenty of towels. It is right on the beach and villas were clean and spacious.

The resort is located in one of the most beautiful beaches in Thailand. The rooms is a little bit old but clean and really worth the price for the location.

The rooms and facilities at the pool and beach side needs attention. People can’t lay on the sun beds or chairs as they do not even have proper mattresses. They are old, torn and when it rains the staff do not take them in, so they are totally wet. Our bathroom had mold and the lights on the patio are rusted and almost fell when we opened the door. We had to ask to change the fire extinguisher as it was totally rusted, very unsafe. This place has a lot of potential but really need attention to be a nice luxurious resort. Staff not that friendly at the restaurant, also complain about the deflated peddel board but they did nothing about it. Breakfast expensive for the island. 500m up the road had proper breakfast for no more then 150 baht. Place has a lot of potential but really need a lot of TLC.

we had upgraded to a beach view villa but on arrival found it to be more restaurant view, in fact it was directly opposite! I asked at reception if there was a possibility of a better view and was offered the next door villa which although still opposite the restaurant did afford us a limited beach view. (Villas 501&502). The restaurant served good food all day and had a good ‘specials’ board but oddly several of the staff spoke neither English or Thai, that didn’t go down too well with me or my Thai wife!

A very picturesque resort. The beach was kept clean daily. The reception staff along with Vid the bus driver were really helpful. Our villa was spacious, the bed huge and really comfortable and the shower had ample hot water with good pressure
