The car was excellent for overnight stays, allowing us to reach all activities and towns within 20 to 30 minutes. The host was very helpful and extremely friendly. The breakfast, cooked by the host, was very delicious and featured authentic Thai food.

I loved everything

The rooms were so clean, and the beds are the COMFIEST beds I have stayed in travelling South East Asia! This is by far one of the nicest stays we have had whilst travelling, such great value for money. The stay was so good, we extended for an extra 2 days. The pool was amazing, the perfect size. The view from my balcony was breathtaking. The beds like clouds. The food was top quality. Scooter rental available at property, and the most beautiful host inside and out!!! Mookta really made our stay special. I will remember you for life. Thanks for everything

The shower broke, not sure how but when it happened the owners where very rude about it. Made me feel like we had done it deliberately, shouting very loudly and waving his hands around and looking angry, it personally ruined my stay and made me feel uncomfortable. Staff and owners use the communal space to watch tv and eat which isn't ideal in my opinion.

A slight negative was the fact that the power to the fridge goes off when you remove your room key to go out during the day so no cold drinks or ice when you return but the owner kindly supplied me with a bag of ice.

We stayed here for 3 nights during our month long trip to Thailand and it suited our needs well. The location is a little remote but the upside is that it is nice and quiet. We had a car so were able to go out and about but the owners can arrange scooter hire or trips or excursions including a pick-up. We had a one bedroom place with a lovely balcony with views across the swimming pool to the wooded hills in the distance. We loved to sit out at the end of the day and enjoy a drink and the sunset. The room was large, spotlessly clean and the shower worked well. Evening meals have to be pre-booked and various breakfast choices are also available. We dined there on our first evening and also tried Ruanthai kitchen on the main road heading to Khao Lak which is very good. The owners and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We would love to stay there again.

Everything! It was in the perfect location for us to go out on a boat trip to the Similan Islands. The hosts were lovely and she cooked for us both nights. The food was absolutely amazing!! We really enjoyed our stay there.

There wasn't much to dislike.

The room was very big, also the bathroom and the terrace. The host speaks very good english and can help you organising your stay in Khao Lak area. They are reachable on Whatsapp if you have any troubles or questions. The property is on a good location to explore the whole area, especially if you have your own transport. We had a rented car, which was very good idea.

Nothing, everything was great! The location is a little bit outside of the main road, which makes for a nice relaxing environment, but restaurants and bars can be a few hundreds meters away if this is something one is looking for. Was not a problem for us at all as we had the great restaurant on site. All our tours departing from Khao Lak also picked up at the hotel with no problem.

We had an amazing stay at the Sawasdee Home Stay. The owners and staff were incredibly nice. The food was absolutely delicious. Facilities were clean and very recent. One of the best hotels we did in Thailand based on value for money.

The villa we stayed in had 2 big bedrooms and 1 big bathroom. The owner speaks good English and her and staff are very helpful. It's not a big pool but very lovely for a dip and chill. The place is set in the jungle/forest and only 5 mins drive from the main road. Would stay here agian.

Good to know that the place is too far away from any place to go by foot, so you need the scooters they rent at the accomodation if you don't have your own vehicle.

Very clean and spacious appartment. Super friendly hosts who do everything to make your stay the best as possible. Scooters available, nice swimming pool and delicious food. You can even learn how to cook real Thai food before eating it!

The location is some way from town, just be aware of that. On the plus side it is very quiet & peaceful.
