On the day of our arrival we had a really nice man greet us and get us checked in, however he was gone for the rest of our stay and the other person dealing with reception wasn’t the friendliest, seemed really bothered by any questions we had. The A/C didn’t work amazingly and I’d say it’s in need of a service.

Great bungalow right on the beach, hammocks and sun loungers on the beach were great! Room was perfect size for two and we had a really comfortable stay

A few small things could be done to improve the place. The day we checked in the reception guy seemed a bit grumpy and wasn’t very helpful, and he didn’t mention any of the hotel facilities (gym area, stand up paddle board) and we would have liked to use them had we known. The lounge chairs on the beach could do with new cushions, and a few more chairs would be good. Having somewhere to wash your feet after the beach would be ideal. And when you leave the room all the electricity, including the plug ins, stops. This is frustrating as things can’t be charged unless you are in the room. The plug ins aren’t designed the best either, and are hard to use as they are so close to the light switch. Lastly, we weren’t given a hand or face towel.

The property was very peaceful and I appreciate their eco conscious approach. The gardens were beautiful and the pool was nice. I would prefer the pool closer to the beach but that’s not a big deal. The beach is lovely and quiet, the water is quite shallow so not ideal for swimming but nice to walk and sit in. I appreciated that the staff kept the beach clean. I also enjoyed laying in the hammocks, they are a nice touch. There are some gorgeous sunsets that can be enjoyed on the beach. Our room was comfortable and nicely decorated. The two hotel dogs are cute, particularly Pitta who loves to swim.

View from our beachside bungalow - room 3 was disappointing plus the beach not the nicest. This whole strip of beach has a big seaweed problem which the staff work hard to clear to no avail.

It was ok but needs a lot of TLC . Didn’t pick us up as arranged but did rectify when we moved on to next destination. The Vietnamese spring rolls were lovely. Beers good 80 TBHT

The second bed was very hard, impossible to sleep on. The cleaning lady did not clean the sink or shower area.

The walk to main street is not so pleasant, with a fair amount of rubbish littering the road, and quite long with small children (about 10 minutes with little shade)

Bar/restaurant area was fantastic. Free tea and coffee throughout day, games for the children, great sea view and just a wonderfully relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

The shower in our room needs maintenance, there was no proper way to attach the shower head. Towels leave small pieces behind while using, maybe too old. At night, there were dogs running on the property and barking.

I can’t fault the property. It is unfortunate that you can’t swim in the sea as it is too shallow but the beach is still so nice to walk and lie out on

We really enjoyed our stay at SeaEsta beach. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Location is right on the beach and very quiet and relaxing. The room was clean and tidy and the beds were very comfortable. It is a 10 minute walk to the road where there are restaurants and shops. It does say that they only accept cash as payment, however they kindly allowed me to do a revolut transfer as payment. Would definitely recommend SeaEsta Beach for a quiet, relaxing stay in Koh Phangan

SeaEsta Beach Resort exceeded my expectations in many ways. From the lovely staff to the relaxing environment, everything about my stay was lovely and I would highly recommend SeaEsta to anyone who's looking for a tranquil and comfortable place to stay on the island.

The location is far from everything if you don't have a scooter. The beach is not nice at all and most of the time looks like a big pile of mud. The beachfront villas are not really in front of the beach, because the doors of those villas are facing to another side (not the sea side) so from the room you cannot see the sea, only from one small side of the balcony. I wouldn't call it a beachfront.

Something’s were missing for us, it would be nice to have an option to wash our feet before coming into the bungalows or have a screen on the door. Some details like the shower head needs to be cleaned or the air conditioner is a bit loud. These things are super small but would make the stay more comfortable.

We loved the location, Jonas and Eva are great hosts, very helpful and informative. A very relaxed atmosphere. The room was also good.

Towels are strange and don't properly dry you. There was sand in our bed on arrival and also the bedding didn't smell very fresh. Pillow was stained. Place just seemed a little tired and needed some work to freshen it up.

Nice location. View is amazing and you also get to see the sunset. Nice hammocks to relax in. Pool area seemed clean and nice Rooms are a decent size, bathroom also quite big. Collected us from the port which was ideal and helped us with scooter and further taxis Air con worked well.
