Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Hotel opposite the railway station and not far from city centre. Good check in with English speaking receptionist. Rooms are big with AC, modern TV (with Netflix), Fridge. Good bathroom with hot/cold shower...

United KingdomWelcome on arrival, just starred at us with no hello or sawasdee kap etc. (We speak both Thai and English!) Didn't show us to our room or explain the route, we just had to find out for ourselves. 1 toilet roll for 3 guests, didn't answer phone internally or externally for us to ask for more in the evening, nobody on desk either. No WIFI code given, again nobody answered phone to provide it. Room... was suitable/acceptable for our needs with 1 double and 1 single bed. (2 adults 1 child) Bathroom smelt really bad! Shower head was broken, shower wasn't powerfully enough heat the water on full. Generally scruffy room, needs refurbishment, one towel had holes in, pipe on toilet not long enough. Again, some smiles and welcome from staff would be a hood start! Even the cleaners ignored my hello, didn't even get a thank you on departure. We stay in Thung Song two times every year, we won't be returning simply due to the little details of a nice welcome and a shower head that would take 20 seconds and 100baht to fix. Poor Sino!
Air conditioning worked and TV channel selection and YouTube was good.
