The property is absolutely gorgeous. We had a two bedroom villa with a pool. The pool was sparkling clean. The air conditioning worked very well. We ordered room service and ate at two of the restaurants. We were only there for two nights which was definitely not enough. The staff were all outstanding. The spa was incredible, one of the best massages I have ever had. I can’t wait to go back.

I loved everything but the wine list could be improved a bit. More wines by glass and more interesting options would be nice.

It’s a beautiful hotel and a very special place. It’s a very private hotel, where you can be perfectly happy in your stunning room with a pool and incredible views or you can hang out at the bar listening to frog noises, or have an amazing massage at the spa.

While the staff goes out of their way to make children feel welcome, this hotel isn't ideally suited for those under 12 years of age. Although the efforts to accommodate young guests are commendable, the offerings might not keep them entertained for long. If you're visiting with kids, a stay of up to three nights is advisable to prevent boredom. Despite this, the unique experiences and breathtaking views still make it a worthwhile visit for a short stay.

A must-visit destination! This hotel offers an absolutely breathtaking view that you need to see at least once in your lifetime. Every moment spent here is elevated by the stunning panorama. Don’t miss out on this unique experience.

For this price, we would expect to be amazed with a lot of attention and details. It is a very nice hotel but we would have hoped to be surprised. We were asked if there was any special occasion for our stay, and indeed it was but there were no special present. No welcoming drink. No special compliments. The room would deserve some refreshing. Noisy air conditioning..

Amazing location and nature. Very nice design of the villa. Very pleasant staff.

You have to reserve restaurants in advance, even before you arrive, otherwise it can be difficult to get to some restaurants the day you want. They inform you this in advance, but it is a bit more difficult than in other resorts of the same class. For some reason the trip to get to the resort from Krabi is shorter than from Phuket, but way more expensive. We booked our flight to Krabi (since it appeared closer and more convenient), but after booking the hotel we learned about the rates to get there, and saw that Phuket was 8 times less expensive with shared options. From Krabi the resort only provides private option (which is also not so good for environment). I wish the resort was adults only, the time we were there there were several extended families with very small kids, and to be honest the resort pool was not very welcoming at some points during our stay, and also if you are there to relax with your couple, the screaming, singing, sibling fights, splashing, and other kid related issues are annoying (this will be very noticeable to you if you have been in adult only resorts before). The resort is in the middle of an island jungle (we loved this by the way), but if you do not like lizards, centipedes, Komodo dragons, you will have to take this into account. We even got a small scorpion in our room one day. There is a very good mosquito net available to sleep, which is handy. To us it was not a big deal, but I know some people for which this could be an issue.

The resort is simply spectacular. A piece of heaven on earth. The views from the resort, particularly from our room were fantastic (we stayed in a panorama pool villa). One of the strong points of the resort is the food, all restaurants and breakfast were incredible, particularly the Thai options (the fried egg pad kra pao was our favorite). Both the resort and villa pools are also great. The villas are very private. We loved the nature and wildlife in the resort and also the environmental consciousness everywhere. The farm, and possibility to get your own eggs are amazing. We also liked the island itself, which we explored with the bikes available on site. The staff is world class, really they go above and beyond to help and make you feel pampered. Jenny our host was lovely and was always there to help. There are tours to local island as wells as Phi Phi, Krabi and other places. I highly recommend booking at least one of these, since they are really amazing.

A parasol on the deck in between the sun loungers so we could sit out there in the heat more easily. No shop on site for snacks etc, it would have been nice to be able to buy a few bits. And less mosquitoes but that obviously really isn't the hotels fault, and they even provide spray in the villa and at the tables at dinner. Unfortunately between us we were bitten over 100 times and came home swollen and itchy. It's a tropical island though, so what do you expect.

We had an AMAZING stay at The Six Senses. The staff were absolutely incredible, especially Khun Q who looked after us, and the villa is the best accommodation we've ever stayed in. The villa was huge, and the private pool and deck area was just out of this world. The accommodation was kept spotless at all times, and the pool cleaned thoroughly and regularly. It was truly a paradise and I can't imagine we'll ever stay in such a nice villa again. The food was all delicious, and the day trips offered by the hotel run perfectly. We had the absolute best stay.

I don't write lengthy reviews very often but this resort offers an island getaway like no other. It is located on Yao Noi, a 40 minute speed boat ride from Phuket and is discretely tucked away on a hillside, with its own beach. The villas are arranged in such a fashion that you have complete privacy, but with the amenities of a 5 star resort. The breakfast buffet was of a high standard, offering plenty of hot and cold food options including pastries cooked fresh on site, fresh juices, eggs from the resorts own chickens and decent coffee. On arrival we were greeted by a dedicated concierge, Zoe who anticipated all our needs - from dinner bookings, tours, picnics, tennis court reservations etc We had a 2 bedroom villa with magnificent views to the islands across the bay. It was very spacious - with our own pool, decks, daybeds, and huge bathroom including an indoor and outdoor shower, and a sunken tub to soak in with views to die for. It really was a gorgeous villa and hard to leave - except for the lovely communal spaces including the hilltop pool and several dining choices for lunch and dinner. Food quality was excellent, local Thai options being our favourite. We tried the free yoga sessions at 8.30am each morning in the open air pavilion, the well equipped fitness centre, we took the complimentary bikes for a spin around the island to sweat off some calories so we could justify another wonderful dinner and the all day, every day free ice creams and sorbet! After 4 days our family (21 years and 16 years) felt so relaxed. Weather was hot and balmy, showery at times. We also booked a half day boat tour to outer islands which was fantastic - hidden lagoons, swimming monkeys and private beach picnics! We left feeling so relaxed and priveliged to have spent time at Six Senses after a former visit some 12 years earlier. Rooms and facilities have all held up very well and the smiling staff are professional, friendly and attentive. Its a 10/10 review from me!

    The mosquitoes

Absolutely! Here's your requested review: "I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Six Senses Yao Noi with my family, and I can confidently say it was one of the most magical experiences of our lives. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and attentive service, and it only got better from there. One of the standout features of our stay was our butler, Kat. She was an absolute gem, always going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. When my mother fell ill and we had to take her to the hospital, Kat was incredibly helpful and supportive, accompanying us every step of the way and making sure we had everything we needed during a difficult time. The resort itself is a true paradise. Nestled in the lush tropical landscape of Yao Noi island, it offered stunning vistas of the Andaman Sea and a sense of tranquility that is hard to come by in today's fast-paced world. Our kids were particularly taken with the resort's many activities, from swimming and snorkeling to kayaking and more. Overall, I can't recommend the Six Senses Yao Noi enough. The staff, the setting, and the service were all top-notch, and I left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and grateful for the memories we created there. Thank you to Kat and the entire team for making our stay so special."

The idea of the GEM is great, but, we did not get a lot of value, might need to ask for more. But the app is great and the chat responsive for any changes.

Amazing resort. All services provided. All extras were expensive, but all available. Spa in particular was amazing. We did boat excursions with great guides, very accommodating for our family of 5. The giant movie screen on the beach was particularly cool.
