No problem getting sun beds, room was lovely. Food and staff great.

No bidet in the toilet and also the main pool have leaves on it. The pool beds are bit dirty as well. Would be better if it is checked and cleaned up for guests usage. Otherwise, not much negative things to add.

Beautiful hotel and amazing view and food. Breakfast was amazing and delicious options. Great staff and very informative, they helped us get a tuktuk for 100baht to the nearest market in the evening. I got sick from some food at 1 AM and they offered to bring me to the nearest hospital if needed. The staff are so friendly, helpful and respectful. Access to beach and pool was fun.

Villas nearest the huge Hilton next door can suffer from a bit of generator noise.

The place is fabulous and the setting is stunning, the staff are fantastic, everything is done perfectly. It's the best place to relax in style and comfort.

Excellent location right on the sea front. Every member of staff is attentive and friendly. The gardens are beautiful and the general ambience of the place is well worth the cost.

the breakfast staff - surly, tardy and not a single smile between them very bad atmosphere - very off-putting to holidaymakers, reflects badly on the hotel the food itself was a bit lacking in variety and taste the pool staff seemed happy for people to hog all the pool chairs at 7am even though they had no inclination of using them until 11am at the earliest - such selfish behaviour should not be condoned

our 4th visit to (what used to be) our favourite hotel in SE Asia many, many thanks for putting us in the royal suite - very nice touch indeed had the added bonus of meeting the (new) manager Jan every day of our visit beautifully kept swimming pool and a great restaurant for lunch - really impressive the hotel and gardens still look stunning and spotlessly clean

Only thing I can think of is lack of bidet shower in bathroom, which most places in Thailand seem to have.

Beautiful building, excellent service and staff, fantastic food, superb yards, pools, gym, restaurants on site and very easy access to beach. Couldn’t have asked for more.

The seat covers in the club lounge were often soiled with bird droppings. Not easy to stop the birds but easy to change the covers more often

The ac in the room wasn’t great. The toilet kept running. There was broken glass on the beach.

Overall, it was a good stay. Some of the food we ate wasn’t fresh. The breakfast buffet was phenomenal, but they didn’t have many vegan options.

Papaya only appeared one day at Breakfast, would have liked to see a better range of cake items at Breakfast, more choice of juice and sausages at Breakfast. In the evening in the restaurants the rolls are over warmed before serving and become very hard. Not keen on the little birds that fly in the restaurant at breakfast. Feel it would be better to put a folded towel on the sunbeds, rather than the towels laid out fully on the sunbeds as it is confusing if the sun beds are 'bagged' Just very minor points in an otherwise lovely hotel. Beach is good for walking not really sunbathing.

The Resort is an oasis in the middle of Hua Hin. We loved the beautiful gardens, friendly, attentive Staff. Excellent sun bed management team, so you could always get a sun bed in the hotel grounds or by the pool Food is very good, pleased the hotel now does Room service and al a carte menus in the restaurants. Loved the piano being played whilst we had breakfast and the fresh fruit served whilst sunbathing.

Old colonial style hotel - exceptional staff attention to detail and warm hospitality. When I visited, the clientele were perhaps on the older side. So, not a young thrusting and vibrant but rather cool sophisticated and very stylish

Expensive drinks not served well at beach bar, for example, thick discoloured plastic ‘glass’ for a gin and tonic only made worse by flat tonic pre poured rather than left for me to pour to required balance. Disappointing for premium price paid. Bars lacked vibrant atmosphere. ‘Happy hour/s’ only advertised on boards towards the end of our stay - we felt that better promotions might have helped to enhance take up and in turn, encourage a more buzzy ambiance.
