Breakfast is poor and not fresh. It is also too humid in the room.

The room is big enough, and comfortable. The environment of the hotel is nice and quietness. Staff are also good.

The service is not great. Staff need better training to manage guest expectations (from front of house to restaurant). Could be an amazing hotel otherwise.

It’s a beautiful hotel in a very good location next to the historical park. The rooms are spacious and well furnished.

1. The food is poor. All fast food (western and Thai). sugar filled cocktails and no decent wine. I asked for a glass of house white wine. When it came the colour was brown and the wine was off. At no point did the staff say what the wine was. it wasn’t drinkable despite the explaining that they had just opened the bottle. 2. There is nowhere where you can sit quietly and enjoy the view/nature/environment over a drink or a bite to eat without loud jazz music being played indoors and outdoors. I know Thai people like noisy environments, but farang come to the countryside to get away from the noise, hustle and bustle of Bangkok etc. 3. The staff are friendly and kind, but very poor English, terrible customer service and zero when it comes to being proactive. 4. The interior decor throughout hotel and rooms is stunning, but my mattress was really hard and old along with the mattresses. the first night the light from the AC, the noise from the fridge and the flashing power point next to the bed kept me awake. 5. The aromatherapy massage I had with Khun Nutch, on the other hand was one of the best I have ever had in Thailand.

Who is in charge? Is there a manager? I am sure covid is to blame for many things but for the price paid, the level of service was very poor. Yes, the rooms are lovely and the pool is terrific but I was expecting a bit more. Drink service is offered at the lounge chairs around the pool but no one ever ventured out to see if we would like anything to eat or drink. We were the only people in the pool and area. A peek into the pool bar found 3 staff on their smart phones who perked up and we were able to order, but they did not venture out again. In fact our used towels were still laying crumpled on our chairs when we walked by a few hours later to go to the restaurant for dinner. The restaurant had a special offer for bottles of wine prominently displayed in a special flyer! But oh... none of those wines were available. Why then, I ask myself, leave the flyer in with the menu? There was no salt or pepper on our table but after asking twice, a salt shaker was delivered... empty. These are just a few small examples of short comings that could be fixed if there was a manager who was engaged and offered a little guidance to the staff. I did not see anyone who seemed to be working in that capacity. To be clear, this was my 3rd stay at this hotel and this is the first time I was dissapointed. I don't think I will be back. Covid has obviously taken it's toll on staffing levels etc... but I hope the service doesn't fall to a level so low that they can't recover post covid.

The service was very slow at the restaurant during the evening and the food came out at different times. We sat for 40 minutes before we were asked for deserts and then 15 minutes later we were advised that some of the deserts had run out. The rooms were lovely overall but required some maintenance. The tap was broken, handles missing and the shower head kept falling off when the shower was on.

Beautiful hotel with a stunning pool and excellent location to visit the UNESCO site. The reception staff were very welcoming and cases taken to our rooms. The setting was serene and the lighting was beautiful after dark. We were able to borrow bikes for free from the hotel to cycle to the UNESCO site.

I made mistake on my booking and asked Booking and the hotel to help me solving the issue.. I intend to book 4 rooms with breakfast which the price was slightly higher than the room without breakfast, because I was too rush when booked the room by choosing that wrong option and then asked Booking and the hotel to change it with some extra charge if they can consider but the hotel want to change full price of the breakfast price. The hotel, without trying to understand the issue nor caring the customer. They don’t consider to offer anything or showing any kindness or empathetic at all. Although the hotel facilities are ok but with this disappointed experience I will never stay here again. Apart from this, the room that I stayed, it was poor draining in the bathroom, found dust in some equipments… which is not a quality of 4 stars hotel.
