    All was good!

The breakfast was very good. Everything was so clean, enough showers and toilets. The bed was very big. Definitely one of the best hostels i’ve ever stayed. You can easily rent the scooter as well.

This is actually one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at. I felt very comfortable here and it’s very clean which is super important to me. I saw the hosts cleaning up every single day. The hosts were also fantastic, kind and always helpful. The location isn’t too bad either. At first I thought I should have booked closer to the center but once I did a bit of exploring on foot, the surrounding area had most of what I personally needed: Good local food, massage, laundry next door, 7-11, atms and the Sunday night market isn’t too far away either. You could still get to the center on foot if you don’t mind walking 10-15 minutes. There were also really nice additions to the hostel. They have filtered water, coffee and tea all day. There’s also a fridge so you could store drinks and what not. There’s breakfast every morning although it’s a bit minimal which wasn’t a big deal to me since I tended to eat out anyway cause I love eating the local food. Facilities were clean and I never ran into any issues of having to wait to use it. A towel, shampoo, shower gel, and blow dryer is provided. They have a comfy lounge area with tv/Netflix which I ended up spending more time in after I had explored most of what I wanted to see in Chiang Rai. They can also help organize a scooter for you and slow boat to Laos. They even have a bicycle which you can borrow for free and roam around the area. Thankfully the air condition in the room actually works very well too and there’s a balcony if you really wanted to sit outside. I never used it though cause it was just too hot outside. The beds were quite comfy, there’s a little shelf in your bed area, info to connect to wifi, light switch and outlet for your area, a rack and hanger that is provided. Blanket, sheets, pillows and towel. Surprisingly this was also one of the quietest hostels I’ve stayed at.

Location wasn't very central. No mirrors in front of the sink. How can I shave? No laundry service. There are machines for you to do the laundry yourself. But, besides the time it takes, it requires 10 THB coins, the machine that sells detergent wasn't working and neither was the machine that exchanges bills for 10 THB coins.

Comfortable bed. Clean bathrooms. Good air conditioning.

Super clean and well maintained property, with cute little touches that makes you smile, run by a lovely family. Matt is super friendly, helpful and have attention to details. I booked the tours he recommended, and they were both great . The wife made delicious browny for breakfast. I extended two additional nights since it is a lovely place. They even got up at 4:15 am to prepare a breakfast for me so I can join the tour crossing the border. Big thanks !

    everything was great ❤️

Of all the hotels I've been to so far, this one is the best. well-thought-out and subtle organization of space. good security - magnetic card slot. privacy in the room - a curtain, a large comfortable bed, a shelf for small items, a password for the internet next to the light and sockets, even a hook and a private hanger. clean, spacious shower, mirrors about sinks outside toilet. gels, shampoos, paper and dryers. good air conditioning, balcony in the room. lots of restaurants nearby. very helpful and honest owner when it comes to renting a scooter. friendly, understandable in English. hostel very private, quiet, perfect for those who want to relax, get away from party company to exaggeration or just collect their thoughts. great internet. decent breakfast - coffee, eggs, something sweet prepared by Soma. I recommend!

    Nothing!

One of the cleanest hostels I've stayed at. Matt was a great host, even though I was only there for a night. Good location to bus station, night bazaar and markets. Awesome breakfast too... boiled eggs, fresh fruit, toast, and home-made (still warm) French toast in single serving casserole dishes. I would stay again if I go back to Chiang Rai.

once 2 room mates started packing at 4am, made loud noises in dorm and bathroom, impossible to stay asleep. not hostel’s fault. we all have conscious choices to be more considerate and caring under sharing condition.

location, cleanliness and hospitality Matt- the owner is very kind, attentive and patient, he made this place very warm and special. hostel is very clean, bed is super comfy, there are 2 very good 100% vegetarian restaurants close by, a mini sport stadium next to the hostel, super nice local morning & evening markets within walking distance, super nice and quiet roommates

Sliding doors to our room (not sure if all rooms) when being constantly opened and closed by others in the morning could get annoying. Also being from UK there was only coffee and green tea options at breakfast 🙁 so I would say bring your own tea bags if you really want a cuppa.

Breakfast was good with toast, boiled eggs and a cake/banana bread option from 7-11AM (if i remember correctly). Towels were provided per bed aswell as shower gel in each shower cubicle. Location was great, within walking distance (although we used bolt alot)
