Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SpainEverything was very pleasant and peaceful. Language barrier is sometimes a limitation, but it’s part of the charm
The ocean is calm and beautiful, but it’s not transparent as some could expect from the marketing of the sea in Thailand. This is not reflected on the property description. We had nevertheless a great time there and enjoyed the most stunning sunsets ever. The stuff is very friendly and helpful

PolandIt's not the property problem but island wide problem - the rubbish is accumulating even on deserted beaches :( And it's local people that don't care about it.
Really peaceful and slow atmosphere. You won't find there neither loud music nor party. Please, protect this precious gem!

EstoniaKnow where you are going. There is no blue lagoon water and white sand. But there is so much space and calmness in the beach.
It’s small and very quiet island. Super calm and relaxing place right at the beach. Not many tourist and if, then all elderly people. We were the youngest in the whole island resort(travelling with 1,8y baby) Accommodation is very low key but you get what you pay for. Food good and very fairly priced. The owner super helpful and always around. Helped us with all logistics when arriving late and leaving early. Even made us a route plan for our next destination.

ThailandBest resort in the South in its category. Khun Sam and family are at the top of hospitality management. Delicious homecooked healthy cuisine. Super value for money. 700 meters clean beachfront. Clean air and water. No stingy beasts not in the water nor in the sand. Flawless transfers also between all the islands in the Andaman. I'll be back !!

Oh, so many things. View from the room (no.5), next to the beach location, only a few people staying in whole resort. One of the best value for money options I had in this 10 months in Asia.

United KingdomNOTHING TO DISLIKE HERE
From the moment we arrived on the island people welcomed us and could not do enough to help us. We arrived at Sukorn Andaman extremely early well before our check in time, Sam and his staff made us breakfast and were kind and very friendly, our bungalow was perfectly situated on the beach about 30 metres from the sea, very clean with everything we needed. The food was excellent with a variety of different breakfasts available and a good selection of other food cooked as only the Thai people can!!

United StatesThe bed was hard. Instead of the 2 chairs, drawers would be more useful.
Friendly, helpful staff, considers each guests request on an individual level. (Meaning they go out of their way to make it happen) Air-conditioning works great, cools off quickly. Food is very good & there's a large selection. Having the hammock was wonderful to relax & stare at the beach. The property & guests are really cared about. The beach bar was a nice gathering place day or night. Very welcoming resort.

GermanyIt was perfect!! The location was amazing, you could hear the waves while sleeping in bed. The bungalow was spacious and clean. The restaurant had reasonable prices and amazing food. It’s the best place to chill out! If you don’t want to chill, you can rent kayaks, bicycles or motorbikes or even do snorkeling tours. But the most amazing thing about the stay was the staff. They were so nice and friendly! The owner even came with us to the pier to check if we would go to the right boat. Would always come back!!!

IrelandThe bungalows are a bit tired and old fashioned but everything worked well.
A lovely place to get away from it all. A very simple tropical island, quiet, peaceful and beautiful. The staff here were very helpful and friendly, the food was superb and reasonably priced, when I said I liked mango and sticky rice, they arranged it for the following evening, even though it wasn't on the menu. A bicycle was available for hire, a boat trip was offered and organised and the staff addressed me by name, which I thought was a very nice touch.

Very nice, basic and clean bungalows with sea view on the beach! Free kayaks and the perfect beach for swimming. Lovely staff which took care of our kids while we ate our dinner. Food is always delicious. Sam, the manager oranized everything for us, trip around the island as well as the transfer to Ko Muk via private longboat. We extended our stay and will come back to this peaceful and beautiful place! Thank you very much for making our stay so special.

Trinidad and TobagoI have to admit it was a bit of an mental adjustment to come to terms with the “basic-ness” of the unit when balanced with the peace of mind and privacy/remote benefits.. by no means anywhere near luxury standard, and there were these night beetles that truly were somewhat menacing (but part of the natural ecosystem) but thankfully they stayed out of the room! Did not particularly care for the bathroom and shower/toilet in one combo, but again, grew to overlook it in the context of the safe haven and pleasant environment overall.. The beach also was a beautiful long strip for running and shoreside reading but unfortunately the water much less enticing for swimming and on some days (not all) seems the surf had a lot of garbage to bring up on the shoreline the thought of which made the days that it was less evident, less appealing for a swim....saw more than a couple jellyfish on the shoreline as well but could also well be a function of time of year as it was a similar case on Koh libong and krabi around the same period
No frills, trims or trappings, as basic as they come, yet in the simplicity a riveting reminder of really all that is essential.... despite the very basic standard, the price was fair I think for the fact that I could hear the waves from my pillow every night .... while in the city, surrounded by millions of people I can tend to feel lonely, out here there was no such propensity (with absolutely no one else around) at all! Breakfast and in general the menu variety was also a welcome surprise considering the simplicity of the location. Sam’s absolute hospitality from pre-arrival to departure and travel tips and advisories in between was without a doubt one of the highlights that made it easy to hold in this haven of a bubble (when the covid wave kicked up following my arrival) and actually a little heart wrenching to leave after two full weeks there....the effort by the staff to pay attention to the little things/details was really what mattered (they noted my preferences as time went on and came to respond to basic needs eventually without even asking!) Five stars of commendation for such welcome attentiveness! Great retreat if all you have to keep you occupied is a tonne of virtual work and a few books to read!
