The location was fabulous beach front with coconut trees in the garden and only a few steps from the quiet beach. The beach front is also covered in coconut trees / trees with all the beach huts along the beach set back so it’s totally unspoilt. A short walk to the village which has local shops and a few bars and restaurants. This is a very quiet island so not much going on, it’s a place to relax. If you like the night life this is not for you. Kim and her team of staff were super too. Friendly and helpful in everything with asked. Will definitely return one day.. Thanks You 🏝️

It's not the resorts fault but there are stray dogs nearby.

The palm trees in the resort were amazing. Good food Empty beach I recommend to book the bungalow with an AC and with a fridge. (I stayed two nights and my first bungalow had only a fan and no fridge). Lovely white cat

The steps into my bungalow are very uneven and downright dangerous for anyone who is older and not in great shape! Also they should provide water refill stations instead of the plastic bottles! I wish more visitors would ask establishments to provide refill stations so we stop the plastic pollution! This as well as reusable or biodegradable straws!!!! I probably gave picked up over a hundred these past ten days here on this beach alone!

Perfect location with the best place to swim, especially in the morning when it is so calm! Beautiful beach and the view from my bungalow is top notch! Also, the restaurant is very good and I know it is clean as I used their blender daily for an extra few dollars!

The site is located up and down a steep and rocky track. This could be a problem for those with limited mobility.

Comfortable and clean bungalow with sea view. Good restaurant on site with friendly staff. Wi-fi was generally good. Bungalow with fan was cool enough. Lovely beach. Very quiet - in a good way.

You've got a bit of a climb to get up the hill at the back of the property and then an unmade road to get to the little village and Koh Jum's 'main road', but unless you have a significant mobility issue you should be fine. Taxis will get you to the top of the steps, no problem. Being a bit old, I was grateful that both times I needed, my bag was willing carried for me up the hill

Not often I give 10 out of 10, but this place was really nice in every which way The sort of place you want to keep to yourself, lol. The beach is great, lots of shade by the edge, pleasant eating areas, a reasonable menu, and really friendly and helpful staff. Decent accomodation , and regularly cleaned. And you can run a tab and pay with a card at the end too. On the same beach you'll also find among other places a reggae bar in one direction and a really pleasant beach restaurant in the other. All sorts of people passed through - solo, young, old , families with little ones. Some for a day or two, others staying longer.

Nothing to dislike for us. Just be aware there’s a lot of steps up and down for more elderly travelers. Ideally renting a scooter is best here but you can also walk to the main road over a large hill.

Not a cabin with ac available and 1 fan was not enough for hot nights. Cleaning room only every other day.

The best beach on the island, staff was very friendly, affordable laundy facilities, food excellent, if looking for a very quiet places this is it.

We had a basic room with fan and cold shower. It wasn't the most comfortable bed, but then everyone has a different mattress preference. I wasn't sure about the cold shower, but actually in the heat the water wasn't icy cold. It was refreshing which was just what was needed.

A beautiful beach, fabulous food, friendly cheerful staff. 2 nights wasn't enough, but they were full and deserve to be. It's such a relaxing place to just chill and enjoy the sun and sea.

As it's a west side, afternoons are extremely hot. No shadow on a beach almost. Also pillows were a bit too hard for me

I was doing home office from there and the Internet was not stable. I recommend you to get a SIM card if you want to do some work from there.

The place is amazing with beautiful view, specially for the sunset. It is very relaxing! They also have a good restaurant so you can just stay there chilling!

The room is very simple, however it was not a problem for us.

The location is amazing!! It’s right at the sandy beach whic s the perfect place for relaxing. The view from the balcony and the garden is also wonderful. Perfect place to watch the sunset. The staff is very helpful and nice and they make the best thai food. The room is very simple. It was perfect for us and we really liked it and enjoyed it but it is good to know. There is no hot water however you do not need it because of the hot climate. We reall appreciated the fan and the mosquito net around the bed, however there were no insects in the room as it was very clean.

The location is majestic! Isolated from crowds and just five minutes walk from the main road. The sea is lovely and the rooms are as simple as it gets, clean and with a nice view to the sea. We had the deluxe room with the a/c. I highly recommend sun smile beach hotel.

Perfect location right on the beach. Sleep listening to the waves. We had a room with air-conditioning and hot water, so all the comforts we needed. Very friendly staff, and a massage hut 30m away. Short 5 minute walk to the road to find a few supplies. There are other resorts on the same beach where you can also walk to for dinner. You have to walk over rocks at low tide to reach other beach resorts.
