pricey for high season, but thats standard with all accommodations on the island, location is far if you dont have a scooter, but taxis are available for cheap, but you couldn't walk to other sides of the island

we loved the location and staff, rooms were very charming with an amazing sea. The restaurant has a breathtaking 360 degree view of sunset and sunrise and the food was amazing

Motorcycles all need either renewed or repaired desperately. The grounds need re turfed and maintained by gardener to add value to the property and bring it up to standard of rooms. A well stocked minibar

There is no sand beach directly at the resort but you can jump from the pier into the water. This is even an advantage because all the sand beaches in other places are flat. Nice for kids , but not so great for adults.

Beautiful resort in a super quiet location. Best view on Koh Mak ! Modern bungalows with all you need inside. Super friendly people that can organize everything for you. Its recommended to rent a simple scooter that can take you in less then 10 minutes everywhere on the island.

The bungalows needs a bit of upkeep. The first bungalow we were in the wood under the mattress was broken. The first bungalow was nice, but unfortunately we could not stay there . We were moved to a second bungalow and it was much older and dated. Location not great for swimming.

The location is nice, very natural. The bungalows are good. The restaurant has a beautiful view, also the breakfast was very tasty.

Mattress very hard, they should have had sun lounger pads (it was also very hard without), the trash bin in the bathroom has not been emptied wethin four days - should at least have a cover, otherwise it stinks. And, we knew that of course, there is no real beach, but a small footbridge.

Friendliness and hospitality of the two women from the resort, wonderful view from the huts and from restaurant on the hill, they helped and arranged some things for us. Best tamarind and passion fruit soda ever! You can rent a kayak fir free.

There is no beach access here. The only real way to cool off is to jump in your shower. The beds were not comfortable. Room small. This would all ve ok if the price was half of what I paid but it was too expensive for this quality.

The manager was very sweet and the restaurant was an excellent place to hang out. There are cute touches in the room.

Oh yeah just the swimming access, wasn’t sure how to enter water, perhaps was a way I did not figure out!

I loved being on the quiet side of the island, easy enough to ride a bike to the action Food was excellent for a vegetarian, sure the meat and seafood great too, but I would t know! Room was so well designed. Views amazing! Wish was a way to access the water for swimming, would be only thing would have liked to swim more easily Just loved the room! Stayed all over Koh Mak and your place my fav room!

Nice staff, friendly and good service mind. Even location has not have a sand beach, u can see the sea in front of your room with sunrise in the morning.Sunset also can see from the restaurant at top hill. Vegetarian food friendly.

The pictures on Booking looked much better than it was at the end. The room was full of little insects mainly ants and moths, even on our bed, some Geckos that could freely pass through the open space under the door. The geckos are harmless, but they do make some loud disturbing noises during the night. In addition to that the air-conditioning didn't work, but at least after two days the hotel staff has fixed it. Its possible to rent scooters for 250BHT/day. This was the worst scooter we had in our entire vacation in Thailand, anyway … After 3 nights in the Hotel, we decided to leave, because we passed some bad nights, we made this decision even though we were aware, that we won’t get back the money for the remaining two nights. At the checkout we wanted to pay for our scooter rent and thank the receptionist for having fixed the air conditioning. The receptionist, the same person we've contacted for all the issues since the first day, asked us very suspiciously if we had eaten anything in the hotel's restaurant that we still had to pay for and wanted us to pay for the scooter for six days. After explaining to her several times that we did rent the scooter just for three days she finally agreed. Wifi just working close to the reception.

The park area was maintained well.

Natural place ( the garden well maintained, lots of beautifull butterflies, etc... ), full of flowers, sunrise, sunset. Personnel extremely relaxed and helpfull ( read: spirit of koh Mak is living overthere ). A special place where you truly feel "disconnected" from the busy world, but really are connected with nature :).

The staff were very helpful, kind and friendly. Perfect location if you love sunrise and sunset, you can watch both from the location, both are amazing as well ! Very good restaurant. We will miss this place and Koh Mak😊

This place is so amazing, the resort is located at the end of southern cape where you can see sunrise from your bed and you can see sunset at the restaurant. It’s very clean and relaxing. The food is so tasty especially “Chicken and Cashew-nut” RECOMMENDED!!! By the way, The resort has no beach so NO SANDFLIES!! we’re so lucky cause we are allergic with them. You can book everything you need at the reception. Staff is so friendly and very helpful. We will be back for sure!!
