Great location, very comfortable room. The male receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Great pool and gave us pool towels. Lots of choices for breakfast. Organised our onwards transfer for us and staff greeted you at the port to help take your bags to the property and show you there. Right in the centre but far enough away from the noise of the beaches

Lovely boutique hotel with nice facilities and friendly staff. Nice rooms with Smart TV and clean space. Friendly touches from the hotel by giving fruit with a personalized note and little toy water guns (for Songkran).

We loved everything.

The room was spacious, the beds extra comfy and the pool divine. Great location and the best coffee in town just 50 m from the hotel. Within walking distance of everything. It was a tranquil oasis, and we loved every moment.

Too many stairs to climb. As a disabled person with walking stick, stairs and steps are scary to us.

Nothing to not like. The main pool is quite small, and as the weather is so hot, the pool is not going to cool you down

This is a beautiful small hotel with lots of charm, we booked the pool access rooms which were amazing and gave us a more private space, the hotel is very quiet, we didn’t hear any noise other than the birds walking us up. The staff were very friendly and helpful, a nice welcome drink on arrival. The location is great, just a short walk to bars and restaurants, as well as a great market on a Sunday, would really recommend this to anyone, if your thinking about booking I’d say just book!

The property had a great location in the old city. It is right down the street from the Saturday market, and the area has lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. The staff were helpful and accommodating. We stayed in a family room with one double and two twin beds, which worked out great. Our room was very clean as well! We had an early flight on the day we left and the staff prepared breakfast to go boxes for us, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was good… buffet and cook to order options. The rice soup with fish was fantastic. The pool was very enjoyable given the heat and sun!

The water in the pool was surprisingly cold, and not enough room for sun beds around the pool.

As I get older I appreciate and seek boutique hotels a lot more than in the past. This one is one of the ones I stayed in that was absolutely amazing! Everything about it. The impressive look of the outside to the classic look and feel of the inside. The room, facilities, the attention to detail and friendly staff, all made the stay very comfortable and special. I also loved the fact that it was 2-3 minutes to the night market and all night life. I will definitely stay at Thai Akara when I visit Chiang Mai again!

Excellent 2 nights stay at this boutique property. The rooms were big and very comfortable. The family room we stayed at had a balcony and a nice bathroom with shower and tub area. The breakfast was a mix of western and traditional food and the property is in a very central location. But overall, we loved the way the office staff went out of the way for making us feel comfortable.

The Thai Akara-Lanna Hotel is an oasis in the middle of Chiang Mai. It was peaceful, tranquil and a wonderful space to return to after touring Chiang Mai. The room was large and comfortable, the common space inviting and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is served in a beautiful restaurant and included an ample buffet as well as a made to order menu. I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Chiang Mai.

We had zero bad things to say about this property, room or staff.

The location was purpose, inside the walled city, and in a great area. The breakfast was FANTASTIC! Eggs to order, great coffee, fresh fruit every day, and even a yummy soup. The pools were lovely (although we didn't have time to go in them). The staff was SUPER friendly, helpful, and the custodial staff was constantly cleaning so the facility always looked impeccable. (Even under the bed). The room itself had a lovely, sizable balcony. Was spacious, always filled with complimentary snacks and water. The bathroom was also very spacious and the water pressure was divine. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!
