Unfortunately the air conditioner wasn't too effective in that large room, so mostly it was hot, very hot, but not too bad. The swimming pool is small, and it wasn't too clean.

This place is really quiet and beautiful, very good to stay here for relaxation. I loved to bicycle in the park, or go to the beach, watching the owls and water buffaloes, I even saw a monitor lizard in the lake.

Breakfast was awful, everythings cold, toaster didn't work. Everythings at this resort were nice but breakfast was unacceptable.

The room is huge and beautiful, comfy bed.Nice air flow ,sitting space outside is so relaxing. The resort is generous ,you can borrow bicycles from them to ride everywhere.

Extra bed was costly and too small and too hard, we got Another one but still, too expensive for what you get. A camping bed. Fridge was broken, so not checked before use. Our neighbours had a noisy airco and left it on all day, even when they left, we complained , reaction like zero. Just too overrated for what you pay for, not worth it.

The personel of the restaurant were very nice. Massage were good

Moscito net would be appreciated above the bed as mosquitos might be bothering during nighttime.

It is a great place for those who are seeking a calm and peaceful stay. The territory is pretty big, with comfortable Thai style villas around the lake. There is a pool, a private beach (about 400 m from the property), and a beach bar. While traveling during the rainy season, be ready that the main restaurant will be closed and only beach bar and restaurant will be available. The staff is super welcoming, kind, and helpful.

We enjoyed a night here during low season (June 2023) and the lake-side villa we stayed in was outstanding...spacious, comfortable bed, beautiful view, absolute peace and quiet - and we loved the outdoor shower too! The staff were very friendly, and the location of the resort near a quiet and secluded beach was wonderful. The main restauarant was undergoing renovations, so both dinner and breakfast was at the resort's beachside restaurant - a short walk from where we were staying. The menu selection was well thought-out, especially for vegetarians, and was both reasnably priced and tasty. The breakfast buffet was also enjoyable, though we did have to ask for the hot dishes to be heated up (which was quick and easy). If you're looking for a quiet retreat in luxurious surroundings, this is a super option and we highly recommend it!

As a returning customer it feels to me that there is a decline of the quality in general. I’m not sure if this is still covid related or seasonal. E.g. the park restaurant is only open for breakfast, inside spa only after reservation., room service limited, local food court abandoned, beach facilities have lost their charm, sun beds and shading need urgent update. The fact that more land is for sale or lease doesn’t give me confidence that this initial oasis of peace will keep it’s charm in the future.

The location, the park and the staff. It can’t be stressed enough how competent each of staff members are regardless of their role or funtion.

Lovely staff at breakfast who were very accommodating and helpful. Even for a vegetarian, there was a good selection. The resort was quiet and peaceful surrounding a pretty lake with fish. The villas were spaced far enough apart for plenty of privacy. The resort accepted pets and we took our Yorkie with us and he also enjoyed his stay! The resort is not right on the beach but is easily accessible and very beautiful. We walked long distances on the beaches of Khoa Lak. The beds and A/C were both comfortable. If you chose not to use the A/C there was a lovely cross breeze through the villa when the windows with screens were open on both sides. There was some confusion on the massage I had pre-booked for my husband but the front staff were able to sort the problem very quickly and efficiently.

The breakfast could have been better. It was fine, but that would be the only area for improvement. The staff at breakfast were awesome though!

This was a great place to stay for my friends and me. The hotel was excellent at communicating - shout out to Joy at the front desk. We rented a villa that had a pool. It far exceeded our expectations. We were the closest villa to the beach (10 min walk). The free bicycles were nice to get around the resort. The villa itself was lovely. Felt like an AirBnB but with hotel amenities. Joy at the front desk helped coordinate everything and was extremely accommodating when I kept asking to change plans. She booked our transport to and from the airport, helped me order dinner from the restaurant for deliver, and booked our Similan Islands trip. If I return to Khao Lak, I would definitely stay here again!

Receptionist said that they were bad with the TV channels. But they have a large selection of DVD-discs and a good Wi-Fi, so it did not become a problem for us. We arrived at storm season (July), we can`t swim in the ocean. But, of course, it`s not a hotels fall (:

No Chlorine swimming pool, Spacious rooms, Emperor-size big bed, Very professional staff, Scenic lake view etc. But most important is real Thai Hospitality. Everyone ready to help you every moment. Thai architecture, Thai nature, delicious Thai food, promenades on the beach - everything is amazing, thank you!

The complex as a whole lacks pride. The beach area is messy, the restaurant area with plastic chairs is very tacky and untidy. The whole deck chair area looks untidy, patches of sand, patches of grass, unkempt grounds. The rest of the grounds are a mess with construction debris from the neighboring construction site (big hotel going up). And the construction noise... You cannot walk to the beach, its far, and over rough loose gravel, sections of the grounds look barren and harsh, you always need a tuk tuk or bicycle as it's far, and especially poor visibility at night. The whole place looks unfinished. None of the architecture is coherent. Nothing matches, the style doesn't run throughout, it's all hodgepodge and random. The outdoor beach massage was absolutely disappointing. The ladies didn't have a clue. They lacked proper technique and professionalism: giggled and chatted loudly to each other throughout. They were rough and abrupt in their manner. Felt like local villagers were hired and not skilled masseuses. And let's not even discuss the hygiene, especially after a pandemic? Breakfast was disappointing. The choices were weak, and of poor quality, especially for a "wellness" center. It's a complicated little maze to get to your outdoor table. There was nothing "wellness" about the place. No yoga/ pilates offered, no meditation, no dedicated sala space to do your own yoga, no special treatments, no special cuisine, no special experiences. Nothing. Just a title. The strange and awkward white "meditation hall" is not available for use. The owners should do some research on "wellness tourism". (Tip: check how it's done in Bali) The bed was hard and creeked all night and would wake us up if either of us moved.

The rooms spread around the lagoon look very scenic, but that was it. Thai dinners (not the Western attempts) at the beach restaurant were all exceptional, sunset views over the sea added to the experience
