I Picked Thai Mex on reviews, the location is 1min walk from the sea and very close to Wing 5 entrance which has spectacular beach bay area and small 9 hole golf course and driving range. The availability to hire bicycles was a bonus.

Place when you feel at home. Old wooden house, beautiful decorated, only 3 or 4 rooms . And above all excellent atmosphere created by young lovely couple so friendly and helpful. I liked location close to seaside promenade and beautiful beach Ao Manao (by rental bike). Thanks for all. I will be back!

Far too many Mosquitos where my terrace was , and not totally comfortable on the Bamboo bench, but this is a minor problem. Would suggest putting mosquito insense to stop them.

Awesome couple that run the place, so friendly and helpful. Cant speak highly enough about them. The room was spacious, Hot shower, lots of chilling area options and also lots of beautiful decorations all over the property, so lovely! Would highly recommend.

The bed mattress was a little bit hard but this isn’t a big concern, the bedding was clean and comfy. Highly recommend!

A perfect home stay! The owner is absolutely lovely and made us breakfast on arrival, the room is comfortable and very clean, the property has a perfect trendy vibe. The owner is also very accomodating, helping us rent bikes and find good dinner locations.

Only one shared toilet in one bathroom, in the other bathroom there’s urinal, but for most travelers it’s ok, so still recommend that place!

Nearby seaside, this homestay offers a charming retreat within an beautifully decorated old wooden house. The hosts' warmth and hospitality create a delightful atmosphere, they helped us to rent a bike, told more about Prachuap and were a great company. The authentic charm of the wooden house adds character, offering a unique stay that blends comfort with a touch of history. It is not a hotel, so lower your expectations, some people sadly don’t understand that it’s a homestay, and yes, it’s extremely homely!

Walls are thin but not an issue if you keep the noise down at night, we had other guests laughing and talking right outside our room at about 11:30pm at night

Great stay at ThaiMex, Ying and her boyfriend were very kind and friendly. The hostel is just near the sea in a quiet street. Very clean and comfortable room. We can have breakfast in the morning (home made cooking). We were able to rent a motorcycle and a bike to roam around, the closest beach is not far but better with a bike. Ying gave us a lot of advice and was available for every question, thank you so much!!

Amazing owner, super friendly and helpful. Rooms were bigger than expected and clean. The facilities are great, and products are biologically self-made. Breakfast was great. We rented a bike here, which I would recommend, and everything was arranged perfectly. I would highly recommend this place and will come back for sure if I will be in Prachuap Khiri Khan.

Walls are thin and the bar next door can get a bit noisy (only on weekends, I guess). Not too suitable for light sleepers.

Excellent host and extremely friendly and cozy ambient. Good place for solo travelers. Great that you can rent bicycles and scooter right there.

If you're not a captious guest you'll like everything. But if you want more privacy like soundproof walls better look for another place.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. Special thanks Ying for transfer to train station after midnight. The house is very cosy, all made of wood, with many small hand made details. Great location.

It is a pity that I cannot give 20. The place of Ying is lovely. It is just like in the pictures, it has a great atmosphere, and you feel at home from the very first moment. Ying and her husband are welcoming and super-nice; one should definitely try her handmade lip balms and lotions as well! The town, Prachuap Khiri Khan, is a perfect spot to explore the mainland of Thailand with fantastic beaches and tasty foods but without thousands of foreigners.
