The staff were 11/10; they will make you feel so welcome. The hike to paradise beach is accessed from this property so it’s a handy location if you want to walk the 20 mins to watch the sunset. Breakfast had everything you could want. The view from this beach is heavenly.

We stayed in a family garden villa which was perfect. We paid for an extra bed which meant our family of 5 could all stay together. This worked perfectly for us and we prefered having the privacy of the garden view villas. The restaurant was very good, and reasonable value for money, but it was also easy to walk up the beach along to other resorts. We walked over to Paradise beach which was a relatively easy 20-30 minute walk, and the beach was nearly deserted when we were there. The snorkelling in front of the resort was excellent, although we sometimes had to avoid jellyfish. The pool was gorgeous being adjacent to the beach. It is a lovely natural colour pool, and was totally clean. The staff were very helpful organising transfers and trips. Although it was a bit of a bumpy speedboat ride to get here, it was definitely worth it.

Only thing was I didn't have the best experience diving, they did give me a partial refund without me asking which was kind. However it was just the small things that made me question the safety aspect as they didn't even ask for my certification details and we dived with a gentleman who hadn't dived in 6 years and the refresher for him simply consisted of a 2 minute talk about the basics.

Absolutely incredible location with epic views out to sea. Loved the staff who were so friendly and helpful. The restaurant is so great we didn't feel the need to eat anywhere else at all, also the food comes out so fast, but is still incredibly delicious! The best massage I had in Thailand, I feel like the incredible staff working here really take this place to the next level.

Es the receptionist is truly an angel. She's very kind and very helpful. I love the space this hotel has. It's the only hotel on this island with huge lawn and trees and huge open public space with plenty of sun lounges and also swimming pool! A few hotels might have more beautiful rooms but they don't have the facilities i just mentioned. I also love the little bar by the beach. Drinks are very reasonable price. I really love it here and i would definitely come back again.

I've just spent 7 nights staying at Thanya and cannot recommend it enough. Superb beach. Beautiful grounds, pool and accommodation. Tasty food and First Class service. For me, personally, Thanya ticks all the boxes !! So, once again, a huge thank you to Es ( Great guy in reception ) and to all the rest of the team for a truly memorable stay. Lovely staff, comfortable rooms, and great food and drinks at a beautiful scenic spot. If you're after peace and quiet, and enjoy snorkelling off the beach, this is the place to go. The sunrises are stunning! The early morning walks along the entire length of the beach revealed different gems of the sea every day. It may not be everybody's cup of tea, but now we've moved on to Koh Lanta I wish I could go back, and I more than likely will but more than 4 days next time, like a week to finish the Thailand holiday.

Thanya is great value for money, offering good comfortable accommodation on a very chilled beach / island. The beach is long with a few resorts dotted along but not much else. So the only decision to make to where to lay and where to eat that day. The Thanya restaurant menu was extensive and mostly really tasty and good value. All the staff were warm and friendly. Great beach in front of the property with plenty of deckchairs and loungers for use. Beautiful pool overlooking the sea.

A tropical paradise! Amazing location; quiet, clean, extensive grounds to walk and roam. At the end of the beach, so private and peaceful. The staff is 100%! Professional, efficient, courteous and always provided service with a smile. The absolute best massage(s) I've had in Thailand (If you want a "strong" massage, ask and they will put you with the super experienced lady who will knock your socks off). Delicious, affordable food. So tasty and the service was impeccable. The minute I sat down, a server would be at my table with a menu. The breakfast buffet was full of fresh fruit, made to order eggs, and more. The pool was refreshing and had a lovely view overlooking the ocean (Ok, there are a few kids; but, I'm happy to see families having fun.). We arrived on a Saturday and all of the beach chairs were occupied, but, by the next day, there were plenty available, but, get your spot early. We had a suite 402; we liked it. It may have been one of the more affordable "garden views" however, 402 overlooked the "lake", had a large patio and lots of privacy. Some of the beachfront units were directly on the walking path which were probobly great in the evening, but, not as much privacy during the day. Next visit I will try the units "on the hill with the sea view".

Amazing location. The resort is located at the end of the beach so not many tourists are walking around it. The area of the place is stunning, very well kept. The stuff is extremely kind and helpful. Breakfasts are delicious with big variety of dishes. For those who like being around nature, you can meet monitor lizards around (they are not dangerous at all). Behind the resort there is jungle which takes you for the other side of the island creating perfect one afternoon trip.

Only minor negative thing was that in the day time pool and sunbed area wasn't very peaceful because there were so many children. People reserve sunbeds early in the morning hours before they actually are using them.

We stayed here six days, and we could have easily stay longer. Resort is nice, there is everything we needed. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and service was excellent everywhere at the hotel. Rooms were clean and bed and blankets and pillows were comfortable. Place is really beautiful specially at the evening. Food and drinks were very good and some portions best on the whole trip (Pork Krad Pao) portions were also very big compared to other places.

The island is quite expensive generally (compared with regular Thai prices) but everything is shipped in so it’s to be expected.

Perfect bungalow on a picturesque white sand beach. Quiet but still lots of restaurants close by. Attentive staff. Very thoughtful breakfast options and a cute beach bar. Highly recommend if you’re wanting a hint of luxury on a quiet island with perfect water. Only just discovered the amazing snorkeling right outside the hotel - better than most of the tours. Photos don’t do it justice.

Best hotel on the island (there are only very very few) and friendly staff and relatively good breakfast options and best area in the island and good Thai food. Would gladly stay here again if I come back

Amazing location with a beautiful beach on your doorstep. You can hire snorkels and easily swim out to some coral reefs and see some beautiful fish. We had a sea view family bungalow and it was perfect for our needs. The restaurant was good and the beach front bar done really nice cocktails. Front desk staff very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend this resort on a small paradise island without any roads. We will 100% come back.

The resort and island are beautiful. Hospitality was perfect, the bar and restaurant good! Location eith the white sandy beach are perfect. The seaview bungalows are the best. We had a family bungalow more in the back, which was fine but not the best of the resort.
