Corridors of hotel rooms could be a little more well lit to perfect my stay.

Great location It's an old hotel but very well maintained. Good,cold Air conditioner, strong water pressure, on top of all, basic toiletry, hairdryer are provided. Best of all, great hospitality from all the staffs in the hotel. Hotel breakfast is great as well. Not many choices but sufficient to keep me full till noon.

normally you hear the traffic in ur room just marginally, except that some tuk tuk or motorbike drivers, who love to be noisy, but thats not the hotels business

Nice place vis-a-vis the famous old railway station Hua Lamphong, helpful friendly stuff, MRT around the corner, some restaurant nearby, dont use the pedestrian light to cross the place around Hua Lamphong intersection, there is a pedestrian subway from the railway station to all corners that area

The room was very old and only functionally equipped ! You can't expect luxury here ! 🤷🏻‍♂️ The furniture was worn out and needed to be replaced. The hotel's corridors are very dark and seem oppressive. I thought the price was a bit too high for the room. 🤔 I payed 1050 per night and sawed much better rooms before for less money 🙄

The location of the hotel is convenient as it is only 200 meters from an MRT station 👍🏻 The breakfast was good and the view overlooking the river and the old main train station was interesting.

The staff were warm and professional. They were very helpful and attentive to our queries. The ladies working at the reception and a gentleman were kind and helped with our requests and baggages weight. They were very responsive even i messaged them via booking.com.portal.

The restaurant used to be open always but is now closed for I think three days during the week after breakfast service. We used to have a beer there and occasionally a snack but maybe it is not as well used as previously.

Buffet breakfast was good although tables sometimes in short supply. Location is great for Chinatown and for the MRT into Bangkok. Room was quiet and always had fresh towels although didn't always need them.

Prices have increased considerably whilst the area itself has been deprived of a number of facilities.

The hotel has only limited restaurant facilities, open late on certain days of the week only. The local options/alternatives are extremely limited.

Good location, great breakfast and sparkling clean bathroom

The rooms, although clean, are very tired and the furniture has seen better days. The bathroom and in particular the showers are in need of modernisation. The simple wooden door to the balcony, closed with a single bolt and didn't really fit the frame very well so there was a gap through which mosquitoes came in and noise from the road below could be heard very clearly even though I was on the seventh floor. The wifi was a little bit unreliable and went off altogether at one point. Staff rectified the problem quickly once advised. Everything has seen better days.

The ground floor cafe sells a good selection of Thai and Western dishes at reasonable prices until ten o'clock at night. The breakfast was very good with a selection of Thai, American and Continental foods. The staff-both reception and restaurant - were all very friendly and helpful. The location, directly opposite Hua Lamphong train and metro stations and very near to Chinatown, is very convenient. The rooms are clean and have nice new TVs and good air-conditioning. A convenient and reasonably priced place to stay for one night if you are travelling onward.
